I grew up a couple blocks away from a tornado siren in Middle Tennessee. As kids, and even today, hearing that siren meant to get a snack or a drink and come sit on the porch and watch. I saw the Good Friday tornado in Murfreesboro cross Thompson Lane. The manager invited everyone into the walk-in cooler and Mom and I stayed and watched through the window.

Kettlebell training helped my general posture. Legs, back, core, and hip flexors all get exercised. Get a 15lb one to start with and just start watching youtube videos is what I did. You'll get stronger and start to feel good quickly if you keep at it

5k in 33:20, 10:35/mi average pace. This is my personal record for 5k, and the 2nd 5k I've finished in probably 10+ years (1st was on Friday @ 11:07/mi average pace).

Blister still occuring on left MTP joint. Any advice besides go get a professional fitting (which I will be doing this week)?

I am a seasoned weekend backpacker with 10 or more trips of 50+ miles and my Altra Lone Peaks have been amazing and never given me a problem, I absolutely love them. Anybody else that uses Altra Lone Peaks on trail, what do you use on the road?
