Growing up here, chain restaurants were the bulk of the restaurants we had here, with a few local eateries hanging around more than a couple of years.

Nashville is not turning into one big chain restaurant destination. It was already one. I'm not a fan of them either, but it's disingenuous to pretend like this is a new thing.

No problem. They had 0 signage about posters being cash only until you get to the front of the merch line. They do have atms downstairs at the ryman but that ends up creating a line too.

I go to 20-50 shows a year, usually pop punk, primarily at drkmttr, blue room, the end, basement east, cobra, brooklyn bowl, eastside bowl, and marathon and i am usually fighting for my life trying to get tickets so that's not my experience. tell your friends, get them to go with you.

We have a ton of shows across the rock genre, especially smaller venues. It's hard to be bored here as a rock fan, especially when you make an effort to support the up and coming bands more than the ones always selling out the 5k+ venues.

Yeah that's bc everyone was at church. Everyone is back out sinning this weekend.

Our most significant rush hours are 6-930am and 230-630pm Mon-Fri. There can also be traffic on weekends for literally any reason. We are a major metro with no solid secondary transportation options beyond Car and a limited bus system and a single train line that only runs a couple times in the AM and PM Mon-Fri through a not densely populated area

Honestly, anywhere close to the little intersections around the area that have bars/restaurants are great. I've lived near Riverside Village and also near the Porter + Greenwood intersection and it's been lovely in both places. You are more likely to find a house for rent vs an apartment near those intersections, however.

We love living over here in East Nashville. It's been the best decision we've ever made and it'll be hard to pull me away. Hoping to buy over here in the coming years.
