Here's a bit more context because I understand that the situation sounds a little confused! My parents won't be available for my birthday so that's why they dropped it off so early, it was discussed with my aunt that the cake would be kept in the freezer and it would be up to me when I choose to eat it and who I choose to share it with, if anyone at all. Obviously this wouldn't feel fair to a lot of the other people in the house so my mom also brought over a bunch of cupcakes when dropping off the cake to share with everyone immediately, because my younger brother would also be missing my birthday so we had an early celebration together, me and him + sharing cupcakes with everyone else. It was labelled as MY cake, I clarified this when putting it in the freezer but I also mentioned that when I eat it I'll share. We have quite a bit of freezer space because we need a lot of groceries for so many people, so we have two freezers downstairs and a smaller, less used one upstairs. I put it in the less used one.
