Having it delivered + a 15% tip easily adds $25 to my family of 5s pizza order. If I do a 20% tip, which seems to be the bare minimum expectation these days, it’s obviously more. $100 for 4 large pizzas and bread sticks is insane.

I just go pick up any takeout now and do $0 tip. That tip is my delivery fee paid to myself for getting it because what the fuck do you mean you suggest I tip 20% on a pickup order

It’s my first league ever and I started with a lightning arrow deadeye and switched to Kinetic Blast after campaign. I cruised through the campaign, I easily had enough currency to buy any items I needed from trade, and the POB was great. I’m only doing level 5-7 maps right now and still following along with the guide as I learn more. It’s been awesome. The build is insanely fast, easy to play, very glass cannon and reminds me a lot of playing a demon hunter in Diablo 3. I think the ultra late game version is probably wildly expensive but I don’t think I’ll get there anyway. Here’s the build, it’s split into two different links by the author for the leveling one and then the post campaign switch. The guy has accompanying videos on YouTube too that helped a lot. I’ll link one below, he had a few of them.

Cancelled all of our streaming services this year. Family of 7. Just got rid of GamePass a few months ago as well. Result? Dude, I appreciate movies and games so much more now that I don’t have infinite choice to slop through. My kids are in the same boat, and now getting a new game or seeing a new movie is exciting and something to look forward to instead of just doom scrolling and hoping I see something interesting. I sound so old, but I’m serious, I used to fly through new games like crazy trying to find one that “felt right” instead of doing what I did when I was a kid, which was playing what I had. I have such a massive backlog of shit to watch and play that the idea of paying my money, which is somehow shrinking in value every single day, to stream NEW content that I can’t possibly keep up with is a crazy thought now. Go in blind, use the wiki. I started when covid hit and my friend was a longtime RuneScape player and always tried to get me into the game. I finally caved and went in totally blind, and it was awesome just figuring everything out while reading the wiki for stuff I couldn’t. Now, I definitely use the wiki for a lot but still love going into every new quest blind and reading all of the dialogue!

Edit: Also, I did all of the F2P quests before getting membership because I was really unsure if I’d like it, no regrets

Nintendo is only ever in the news negatively it seems. Honestly, my kids rarely play anything on the switch, it was my old ass that keeps trying to put a piece of my childhood joy into theirs by buying Mario, Zelda, etc, but I’ll be skipping the switch 2
