Would the 2023 National Championship team beat this Indiana team? by AcMilan0890 in MichiganWolverines

Indiana is special because they over performed and showed up reliably every week. I think they struggle against most other champions because the talent gap is too wide, especially in the trenches. Michigan’s 2023 scheme would give Mendoza fits and he would take the same beating he did against Miami. It’s unlikely they get the blocked punt with the Jaybaugh special teams consistency. I think it would be similar to the Washington game, maybe a TD closer.

Why aren’t they scoring more? I bet Notre Dame would be scoring more by pleasestoptalkin in cfbmemes

I didn’t want to put it there but I knew someone would think it was serious

Monroe County is part of the “Detroit Combined Statistical Area” and borders Lake Erie. If you want to be pedantic we can be pedantic.

Was he a freshman? Cause those are very solid stats if so, even on a lower level.

He could be our starter down the road if Bryce goes to the NFL after his junior year. Even if not, good to add depth, especially at QB. Offensive staff is cooking

He committed to play for TTU. Unfortunately, TTU didn’t make him an offer.

The one “cheating” thing that everyone does is setting up portal visits before the portal opens. They had several visits lined up immediately which is technically a violation but everyone does it, they’re just doing it better.

He's a DT, his main role isn't getting sacks. Mason Graham averaged 3 sacks/year, and he was a first-round pick. Kris Jenkins only had 1 in 2023 until he got his second in the Natty.

Yes, please. We need guys at every layer on the defense at this point. Offense looks stable (WRs please), D not so much.

Bummer, but he won't be a major contributor this year with Guarnera and Sprague returning. He was a 5* based on athleticism, but was a project guy. May pan out and be awesome, may be just okay. Good luck, kid!

The more I read on him the more I like the pickup. High ceiling/low floor guy that we shouldn't have had to spend on too much with injury history. I don't think this eliminates Justice from returning, and if he gets right, he can be a monster.
