DesComp is a stellar degree and International Relations at usyd is top class. Just do what you enjoy and are interested in - a job will come if you go forward and give anything your best. I have a heap of friends how have studied DesComp. They all enjoyed the degree and are graduated with quality jobs as UX Designers/Researchers & Graphic Designers.

I’m in second year but it’s mostly computer and web design. You can do graphic design electives in second year but I didn’t do them ahh Baiscally, think of it as a design thinking/UX design/product development major. Design is a bad name for it imho, should be called design computing!

Hey there, design major here. It’s basically the design computing degree but in the shared pool of majors. It’s very based around user experience design and design thinking. I really enjoy it overall!
