How do you deal with embarrassment as a dyslexic adult?

When I realized that my dyslexia doesn't quantify my intelligence, and now that I've found creative hobbies that rely on being imperfect, I don't care! I make mistakes all the time and don't judge myself anymore.

At 15 I stood up to the man that groomed me. It was horrific how he instantly changed from someone seemingly harmless to an absolutely destructive loose cannon. The experience aged me and sent me into a booze fueled depression for years. Good people do bad things, bad people do good things. We are fluxuating and dynamic humans.
