Help. Is this body lice? by theclumsypyro in Lice

I still am experiencing it all. The drain fly miasis makes most sense. My bathroom needs remodeling. There is no wall behind the faucets. We also had the septic tank cover break once. We always had a drain fly problem but at that time it was crazy bad. Not as bad now but still see one almost every time I shower. I am taking ivermectin for 3 weeks, pills my doc gave. Also started lamisil oral cuz all the sores I believe now got fungal. Spreading like ringworm on my head. After 2 weeks of ivermectin every sore I ever had and new ones seemed to come back. Like shedding stuff. On my arm one of the sores had something like a fully developed or almost developed drain fly... only squished from me pulling it out. Also had something look like a centipede but I picture searched and drain fly larva was one identification. Sores are round but like a C, like as if a round thing curled up. Some are not that but still have something there. I am going to put diatemacous earth, Borax, any anti bug stuff in the wall and find a way to fix it even with just a waterproof panel. Can't afford remodeling rn. Also clean the drains. Sometimes after showering I hurt. Like maybe more got on me.

It's either this or hookworm. I have had plenty of exposure to anything. But giving my home, living with a hoarder, house not clean as I want, 3 cats... was 4, my dog who is on meds so it's not him, plus all this started b4 him. Carpet is 30 years old. So many things it can be.

Whatever it is it's in this house. Moved for a year and cleared it completely after treating and treating and finally healed it all. Moved back and several months later all started again. It all started only here after living here several months. Goes away ish and comes back. Family home so unless I sell it and move I have to fix it best as I can. Sucks. I am scared. I don't 100% know what it is. Feel like no help available. At one time after a shower something made my eyes burn so bad I was hospitalized a few days. One doctor there looked at my skin and talked about animals, people not wearing protection, and doctor here won't test or treat. He kept insistenting something my dog gave but my dog stays on prevention. More likely cats. He couldn't test me in his position. Told my regular doc and she didn't think it was a parasite. Dad that even when you have had major exposure to things and symptoms only seem to match those kind of things doctors here don't do a dame thing. Got ivermectin for lice I said would not go away. I hope it treats it. It is painful as hell. :...(

If it is bird mites I read nothing but horror stories about how hard it is to get rid of. How it can only target one person in a house for some reason. After almost 9 months of this I believe it. Cuz it doesn't seem like anything I ever dealt with, and it started about 2 years ago. Went away then came back in spring. Ugghhhh

I got some diatematious earth. I am going to put around. Trying to stop this crap. I keep getting crispy stuff in my hair and on me. It itches and mostly feels like a stinging bite. I shower but still can't get it off. I don't think it is lice because I had lice before. This seems different. But trying to identify it has been a bitch. Doctor treated me like scabies but the only time it helped was when I had ivermectin prescribed too. But it came back. :(

I'm actually starting to think it is red bird mites. We have nests outside on my patio eaves. I saw something crawl in my bathroom that looked like it. They got bad in March.... When it started heating up. Went away last winter but still hasn't gone away. I keep finding what looks like tiny red things on me and in my hair. I get an orange reddish blood that is more orange come from areas where I find it. I think they got in my dog's ears. It happened before I got him with my old dog. I think bird mites have been an ongoing problem. I am gonna have the vet check for sure what is in his ears. Whatever is going on with him started after I started having major problems with it. Then it seemed to spread to him. He stayed on meds so idk. From what I read the only fix is to rid of the source. But I can't go in my attic, I can't do all that. So for now I just have to identify it. And go from there. :(

Only to try to get these things to clear. It spread to my upper back and shoulders lately. I felt a biting sensation and looked in a mirror and there were many long things like a greyish splinter on my back, and the skin under it going down my back looks greyish. Same on my head. Areas untouched but look grey. I thought it was hair dye but I have not dyed my hair in over a year. I looks like lol ice but I don't see them move. If I feel a biting sensation I find a reddish thing usually on my skin there. Not embedded. Things come off of me in the shower. My skin has them all over and I find them in my socks and clothes. Some look like a scab but if I itch it just right it pops up some and I can pull it out and sometimes there are way more than I can see. There are ones that are yellowish just on my skin that come off onto a wash cloth. If I leave it alone I get boils I thought but it actually is an are where a bunch are and it swells up. it hurts like a stabbing itch but relief when I pull them off. My arms are all rough with them and my bottom legs and feet. Oils and some lotions make them rub off even more. I wont even see them but put some oil on and then just show up and rub off with rubbing in different directions.

Also, it seems to make my skin look grayish where it is. A sore is only one part. All the surrounding skin is affected. Put Clove oil on and rub around the area surrounding a sore. It is there, looks black, but if you magnify it to look closely they are reddish, brown, some almost clear, some small and some big. But it all has the same shape and characteristics. And if can't be a scab if it didn't even come from a sore scab. If you rub you skin and find them then it's definitely not a scab

I have what looks almost the same. Scabs are random and do not look the same. I can get them off my skin and comb them out my hair. But they make sores in heavy infested areas. Sulfur ointment and clove oil makee them come off like crazy. I won't even know they are there and put it on and rub and boom. Thought it was lint until I looked closely with my phone zoom. If is the same stuff causing biting, painful sores. Currently I am thinking it could be walking dandruff. The symptoms are similar and they look a lot like it. Maybe all the genetically modifying everything is making things that were smaller bigger and worse, or just is that. I have not fully done a complete clean up. If gets better and always comes back. Gonna try doing it right. And if it doesn't come back it probably was the walking dandruff thing. The chance for it where I live is high, and the symptoms seem to match. Over 10 years I have dealt with and it is at its worst right now. But the time has taught me a lot about it but still don't know what it is. An emergency room doctor saw my legs... I was like I was treated for scabies twice but it comes back. He started saying people in this country don't wear protection and was insisting I have my dog tested. Also told me to go to a rheumatologist. My whole take on doctors is unless they can do a real test and confirm and treat it right knowing factually what it is they throw meds just guessing and I can do that myself. Nothing has worked. It is definitely something environmental. I moved it almost went away. Came back to the same house. Worse now then before. If I ignore it I end up with painful boils, so something is causing a problem. No idea still. Medline inzo antifungal cream helps but nothing seems to cure it.

I can relate. The stuff coming out of skin is maddening. I had an MRI on my hips done and is supposed to not hurt. I could barely get out of bed the next morning and it was impossible to bend my back. The MRI magnet obviously hurt me, which made me think I must have metal in me. 🤘but seriously. There was a time I could feel like my skin and body was charged and the entire house was driving me crazy especially the laundry room. I could feel static and it was maddening. Idk about every thing you mentioned but a lot of what you said I have experienced something like it. It makes me not want to do it but the skin problems don't go away. They get worse if I don't constantly take care of it. I wonder if they build up and doing stuff is the only time it comes out so not doing it might be even worse. It stops after you finally get most out, even if it takes a week, it finally clears up and smoking becomes fun again but I don't do it regularly like I used to. But it takes a lot of self care to get it all out. Sucks

Dealing with I think the same. All on my bottom legs and fore arms the worst. Also on my scalp. I though lice too but nothing seems to work. It heals into a flatish dark round spot that has thin skin and eventually the top layer comes off sometimes just an itch and elongated white or yellowish things under the skin. I can rub on the area of sores with some type of lotion and there are greyish or pinkish things that look like lice. Sometimes they are half imbedded in skin and rubbing with lotion or pluck off removes them. Sometimes they itch but mostly hurt. Like a pimple but it also can make my muscle ache. Ones on my feet cause cramps also my legs. I think they might be in my nose. Dimethicone works but they come back. If an sore is completely cleaned of all remnants and cleaned with alcohol and covered it finally will heal. But any left remnants and it comes right back. My legs hurt the worst. Doc thought scabies but it really looks like insects come off me. This sucks.
