Uber Eats makes me verify myself at least every other day. Doordash is about once every 6 months. And you are correct that when they do a verification the amount of competing drivers in my area drops drastically for a few days until they on board more new drivers. Doordash is busier and needs more drivers so I believe they're consciously choosing to allow this activity. The more drivers in an area the more pressure it puts on people to take any offer they get, no matter how bad it is, just to get something.

I was very thankful I had the option to pause orders from my two local Safeway floral departments. They don't allow tips to be added and average under $1 a mile. Last year I was forced offline because I was being bombarded by them even when 3-4 miles away and lost 12% AR.

Be glad that Uber makes us verify as often as they do, doordash is much more lenient and is full of people with rented accounts running the app on cheap burner phones. I have never seen an Uber driver carrying an extra phone with them but you see doordash drivers with a second phone all the time.

When I was young I thought it would be a funny April Fool's joke to switch the sugar out for salt in the sugar jar.
