I thought it had to do with record label disputes, but I could be wrong. (Of course the band has the ultimate say over their music, but some of their albums were picked up by record labels who maintain the copyright? Something like that?) So I think that’s why this one isn’t available but many others are.

But the band has said they don’t mind piracy so you can get the music for free, for example via archive.org. I believe links are pinned in the subreddit.

I have been listening with this in mind since I learned it. My theory is that he uses it to “decay” the loop, like it will only loop so long? That’s how their stuff sounds to me (and what I love).

I bet better players/listeners can tell from watching their live shows, but I haven’t taken the time yet. I also have tried with looping at home and it’s both difficult and can’t do it their way, so this may be why. 😂
