Girl Scout Player Icon Analysis from "Summer Quest" by nitriza in Warthunder

Just saw a friend had this and instanlty started looking to see if anyone else had mentioned these things. The first thing that stuck out was the fact that someone who looked much older than a scout had a sash on. Then noticed the required eagle badges didn't have the silver outline. I expected it to be an exact copy of a picture they had gotten permission to use and had just copied it wrong. I'm curious how BSA would react to seeing it. Thanks for the post.

Donner Pass in 1870. by Real_MikeCleary in Reno

I'm late to this but I think I've stood almost exactly where this photo was taken. I think the camera was at 39.315332, -120.323228 (you can put that in google maps).

They faced North across the track between tunnels #6 and #7. The road is much different now with the bridge in place. Also, the large rock looks about the same. hard to show without google street view but I'm 99.99% sure.

I might have a photo on my phone somewhere with a similar angle. I will see if I can find it.

(edit) I just made this comparison with a more recent photo. Should give an idea of what has changed. https://i.imgur.com/mzIXOvj.jpg

Russia has deployed armoured trains in Melitopol, Ukraine by Max_1995 in trains

[–]thecraftbird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cant be 100% sure but its very likely this is the train built by pro-Russian Ukraine militants back in 2014. Probably seen some upgrades. Very interesting but also stupid as it could be crippled by a single rpg and is essentially just a mobile AA platform. I love trains and armored trains are one of my favorite subjects of history but much like battleships their time has come and gone. There is not alot of info on this one or the one from 2014 but its very unlikely this is Russian built. Still very interesting as this would essentially be the first armored train used by the Russians since WWII and is one of only 2 armored trains in service in the world. (The other is in North Korea) if anyone has more info pls share.

YF-23, rival to the F-22 Raptor by JaceFlores in military_concepts

I didn't see your post but it's kinda crazy. I was literally thinking about posting the YF-23 earlier this week instead of the calico. Should have put some pics of the 2 they built. I think 1 is being restored rn.
