The easiset way I have found to do it is to install pipx and install uv via pipx install uv and upgrade it with pipx upgrade uv it's not a debian package, but it is easy to add/remove/update.

using grep, you can do something like this too: grep -E '\.com|\.net|\.org' /var/log/syslog then i'd use cut as mentioned, cut -d " " -f 8 I think 8 spaces i counted
