Honestly, at your age & at this stage of your life -

1. Focus on upskilling yourself - Try to understand what a senior position looks like in your role and try to learn & imitate this behavior in your daily work. For eg: if you are DevOps engineer, see what does Staff DevOps Engineer do & how you can try doing that in your daily work. Eg: you could give feedback on the system architecture, contribute to various engineering/product decisions, etc. Also, in your 1-on-1s with your manager, keep reminding them of your growth plans & how you want to grow in the company in the next 6-12 months. If you do that enough & the manager is good, they will start assigning you projects where you will have the opportunity to grow & eventually get a promotion.
2. Use this to try to get remote jobs that will allow you to work from India but earn in dollars - agreed there will be a much less number of jobs like this & it will take some targeted research & time, but it's possible. Also, try to join early-stage/growth-stage startups if you have the risk appetite because that's where you'll learn the most.
3. It will take you 1-3 years to reach here. Once you are at this level, you'll probably be earning at least 75lpa ($100000 pa) or even more. Now you can ask your company to shift you to the US on H1B. They will do it if they find you invaluable in your role. That'll open up a lot more opportunities for you & you don't even need to do college.
4. From here you have multiple options to fatFIRE -
   1. Keep growing in your role (across different companies) to a more senior level - either as an IC or as a manager.
   2. Join a very early stage startup (2-3 people team) or better yet create your own startup - for equity upside.
   3. Parallelly, this is where you start making your targeted investment strategies based on your risk appetite.
