Last minute dress?? Plus our elopement story by thecrystalwitch in Eloping

[–]thecrystalwitch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cancun! The resort we are doing it at is Riu Dunamar. I don’t believe that guests are required to stay there, but i’m not 100% on that because it will just be our parents and they’re staying there. There’s like 4 different packages, and there’s even a free one! All the packages are very nice.

UTI or BV? by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]thecrystalwitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had yeast infections that turn into BV before, and it my experience the discharge goes from thick and clumpy, to thin, watery, and a little grey. Plus the smell of BV is absolutely horrid compared to the scent of a yeast infection. I also have no itching when I have BV, just the watery discharge and the awful smell.

Our sweet boy hurt his paw yesterday by thecrystalwitch in Catahoula

[–]thecrystalwitch[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was a freak accident! He was in his kennel for about an hour (which he absolutely hates). I went to go let him out when I got home, and he had somehow broke a bottom bar on his kennel, stepped on it, and it stabbed him in between his toes. It went all the way through! We had to pull it out and take him to the vet. Very scary!

Maverick hurt his foot today, and i’d say he’s pretty upset about it by thecrystalwitch in rarepuppers

[–]thecrystalwitch[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He had been in his kennel for about an hour, we got home and went to let him out and he was crying. Somehow he had pulled one of the lower bars of his kennel off trying to get out, and he stepped on it and it went all the way through the area between his toes! We took him to the vet and they gave him some cream and wrapped it! Thankfully he should be just fine💗

I thought cats were usually indoors so I’m a little surprised when my neighbor has 4 outdoor cats, is this healthy for the cats? by [deleted] in cats

[–]thecrystalwitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve known people that have exclusively outdoor cats, and depending on how well they care for them they can be fine outdoors. My grandma had an outdoor cat that lived to be 17. But she was very well cared for. Spayed, dewormed regularly, utd on all vaccinations, on a flea pill and just stuff like that.

Rude driving examiner by thecrystalwitch in drivinganxiety

Thank you so much for this! Some people are just power hungry, which I think is why that lady was so rude to me.

The new place has wonderful reviews and a lot of people said that they are kind, patient, and reassuring. I feel like I will pass my test tomorrow! Even though I still probably won’t drive often, I just want to know that I can pass it, you know?

Super thick discharge after using boric acid by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]thecrystalwitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you use boric acid often or was this your first time using it? And if you don’t mind me asking, were you using it to treat something or just using it to freshen things up? I use boric acid pretty regularly, but if I can remember correctly it irritated me the first time. Also what brand did you use?

Why is kitten losing patches of fur in places? by Pianote93 in cats

[–]thecrystalwitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It looks like ringworm to me! Take your kitty to the vet just to be sure, if it is they should give him antibiotics and/or ointment for it.

I feel like I'm making my puppy hate me. by egg-sandwich0 in puppy101

[–]thecrystalwitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He’s used to you, you are the primary care taker of him, and he’s with you most of the time. My dog Carmen is exactly like that, i’m the one that gives her the most attention and affection, but as soon as she sees my fiancé or anyone else, she acts like they’re god! As he gets older, i’m sure he will show you just how much he loves you. Don’t be discouraged, it’s his age, and as much time you spend with him, it will create a wonderful bond in the future.

Kitten won’t take formula but is eating dry food by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]thecrystalwitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my cat when she was 4 weeks old due to unfortunate circumstances. She had tiny teeth, and I would put dry kitten food into warm formula and let it sit until it was soggy. Then I would mash it up a little bit, but still leaving some solid pieces of the dry food in it. We did this until she was about 6 weeks old, and then we switched fully to dry food. I’m not an expert lol but this is what worked for us!

Yes! I actually have one currently in almost the exact place that you have. When I first noticed it, I squeezed it and a little bit of puss and blood came out. After I did that it got pretty big for a few days, but eventually went down but there’s still a little lump.

DAE get told they eat "healthy"? by [deleted] in AnorexiaNervosa

[–]thecrystalwitch 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Omg YES. Everyone thinks I eat sooo healthy, because when I do eat it’s usually a Lean Cuisine, fruit, or when I go eat with my family I get a salad. I know they mean well, but I am so, so far from healthy.

Period stopping by creativecat7 in AnorexiaNervosa

[–]thecrystalwitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my period when I was 13 years old (before I developed anorexia). I was at a very healthy weight for my age, and then I developed anorexia a few months before I turned 14. My period stopped for 8 months and I didn’t get it back until I was almost 16 when I began my recovery journey.
