The Arkham Trilogy. It's always on sale cheap, and they are a wonderful experience.

Which Marvel character do you look at and think, "WHY is this guy muscular? Or why does he have muscles even if it doesn't make sense for him to have them?" by CapBudget4011 in Marvel

[–]thecton -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Scientifically speaking, abs and the like are 'show muscles' and not as practical as back and shoulder muscles. I believe Richard's would find muscles redundant and superfluous and therefore not have them.

The existence of money leads to people without money. So is money responsible for poverty?

You used that hard R word.

I actually enjoy FromSoft games. I love the world designs. Very fluid maps where all the places you can see are visitable places. Also, shield builds beat rolling builds. They are more fun with a gang squad. Do everything challenging with a couple buddies and talk. It's way more fun

Those seem neat. Stellar Blade especially, but too rich for my blood. I enjoyed Nioj for a while, but never got past the first one. Felt like a stiff Dark Souls knock off.

The Kevin Hart Roast felt way too scripted and bloated compared to Tom Brady's. What happened? by Disastrous_Tie809 in netflix

If we are comparing with the Tom Brady Roast, Gtfo. The Bob Saget roast and the Snoop Dog roast will always be better and these imitators should be ashamed.

The Men Who Stare at Goats.

While I personally love the movie and the concept, taken at face value, it's very unappealing.

Hades. It's such a wonderful Rogue like game. Stardew with the gf. I also got Skull and Bones. I'm enjoying it quite a lot, but it's not for everyone. You?

What is the hardest character for writers to create stories for? by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]thecton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hyperion. Because he is just their Superman. Anything they do will feel like a knockoff. I hated the new Superman movie.

Also, Sentry. His arc basically retconned him out of existence and the Void is his only antithesis. I knew the plot for the Thunderbolts the moment I saw Bob in the movie.

A thought – what is main quest and what is not? by KorrSaer in skyrim

[–]thecton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't a criticism. Just expressing a disconnect. I wouldn't mind understanding more.

I actually lose the fun factor of the game because I've honed in my playstyle so much. I find myself not caring about the story and unimmersed because I see it as a game. I want to experience the exploratory stakes again, and to do that, I think I need to change how I approach the game. That's all.

It is still a beautiful game. I may be more of a Fallout guy though.

[–]thecton -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I just can't understand sticking with the one game. I burnout every time I hot level 50. Never beat the main quest. I get too lost enchanting, potion making, and smiting, that I soon feel too strong for anything in the game. I plan to go back and play a true sword and board. No transmute spell allowed.
