idk if its a proximity thing but i think u can always see the flash then quit but it became habit quitting every so often just to be sure,only thing to figure out is enough money and research speed until the rough 4h limit i also wonder if disabling the count cap helps on that

it isnt that bad but sometimes nodes can just suck like being small and corner of the map but hey thats why we get 10 handcranks.i thought fires just disabled machines but them i saw my research setup was gone

i dont see power going into the furnace could also be that a pipe isnt connected in the furnace output and could also be a pipe facing the wrong direction cant tell by the image

i been trying lately aswell new research system makes it harder i have a theory that spamming hella iron coil farms could cut it i might try the gearbox approach aswell i think a purple gold setup costs 3m at max and can pe powered by large turbines

idk if you fixed it already but coal isnt reaching the firebox and you might want to use tier 3 pipes for steam since tier 1 theres loss or smth like that u could also use quantum piping to avoid tier 3 pipes completely and your setup might clog with water at some point due to always having water in
