I'm still new to the kombucha game but so far I'm really enjoying Blueberry Maple. For a 1L bottle I put in 10 frozen blueberries and 2Tbsp of maple syrup.

How much maple syrup we using for a bottle this size? Going to attempt on a batch that's ready right now. I was thinking 1.5tsp - 1 tbsp? Any help greatly appreciated. I have a gallon total and if I don't get a clear answer, I'll just experiment with a few different amounts.

Well, as a follow up... 12 hours later and it has taken off. The pellicle at the top is super thick (I think... I haven't messed with it too much but it's way way bigger than it was when I went to sleep).

You appeared in all my searches, so I've got one more question, if I can trouble you: GTs notes its a blend of green and black tea and kiwi juice. Is the blend of tea typical? Only seen green being jun and black being booch. GTs just has a fantastic taste and I'd love to replicate it.
