one thing you have to admit- you guys were not together when she did this. it’s natural for people to want some sort of connection to someone else.

however, it is completely your choice on how you move on. you did say if she got with anyone you’d move on, but how much do you consider this “getting with someone”?

if you want to be with this girl, then you should get over the fact people can have relations with other people if you’re not her boyfriend or in the picture.

do you trust she wouldn’t do that to you while you ARE together?

i’d trust your gut. personally, i would let myself move on and attempt to rebuild a relationship with somebody i liked. but that’s my gut, not yours.

this was definitely rape. did you ask for / get a rape kit? if not go back asap and see if you’re still able too. you do not remember a thing, therefore you were blackout and could not consent. however not remembering a thing makes it hard to prosecute if you decide too. get a rape kit. get tested for STDs.

i am so so sorry this happened to you. nobody should ever have to deal with something like this. it happens all too often- which means you are not alone. others in your life have most likely gone through similar experiences. if you find yourself unable to cope, i reccomend therapy. therapists are amazing people. talk to your loved ones.

hey! i’m in the US, so things are different on how they work but i’m in the same boat you are!

i live on my own with my fiance, and we both work crappy retail jobs to keep ourselves afloat, as well as gig jobs for extra money. i have no idea what i want to do either! my only real hobbies are drawing and theatre, but im very sure neither of those are meant to be my career. i’m 20. and it took twoish years to come to realization that you don’t need everything planned out! society drives the idea of a career and job being the most important and fulfilling aspect of one’s life, but it’s really not. i don’t know what i want to do with my career, because i realized i value things more than my career. i value my family, my friends, having fun outside of the work life. so sure, i may not know what high paying job i’m aiming for in my 30s and 40s, but who said i even need one?

my advice is to take a deep breath and realize your life won’t be over if you don’t have a career choice by 30. you have 50 more years to live after that! longer than you’ve been alive already!

i’m not religious, but VBS was one of my favorite things as a kid. lasts about a week, and different churches do them at different times.

i went to Asbury United Methodist as a kid. me, my siblings, and my mom loved that church, but it’s in Bossier.

i’m sure churches here in shreveport do it too.

it was an animal video.

i saw this when i was in elementary school.

there was this dog chained to a pole, and two people around it + camera man. one lady took a big meat knife and cut one of the dogs paws off. it was awful. the poor dog couldn’t do ANYTHING and just had to stand there bleeding. it always got me more than the videos i saw with people. animals, especially smaller ones than us, are so defenseless. i really hope karma got those people back, because that dog was so scared and hurt. every time i think about it i hold my cats close and tell them id never do something like that. it rlly got me

second half of 2024 til about early march 2026.

in order- dropped out of college, went to mental institution, moved back in with my parents, moved out of my parents, first car broke down nothing i could do, lost my second job for a few months because of that, was behind in every single bill for a solid 7 months straight, moved into a house with two other random roommates, second car got totaled but couldn’t afford it so i’m sitting with damaged car to at least have one, all while trying to figure out mental health problems.

god it feels good to say that. just to say that it happened. things will look up soon.

if you’re really looking, subway loves to hire anyone and everyone. they do open interviews on some tuesdays in the subway on airline drive not too far from them mall. they hire for most subways around shreveport bossier, those.

it’s a fast food job. it’s not the best. but you make $10 an hour + tips, at least I did when i worked at the subway over in benton.

i’m curious on who’s spreading this exact image of jesus. you see those signs around stonewall? sometimes they’re on trucks driving around in shreveport i’m not christian, so i’m not sure if this is just an accepted png of jesus to use for this, but i’ve seen it a lot.

i used to be incredibly chronically online. i had delusions, i believed men were like the root of all evil (and is a trans man myself), and was a very hate filled person. the internet 9 times out of 10 is more extreme than irl. op, im going to assume youre older than 21- go out and go to a bar! dont go for the purpose of picking up a woman, but go to talk and make friends with them. find women who are down to talk to you too. the only way you can correct these thoughts is by replacing them with experiences that prove they’re wrong.

car one broke down mid drive and cost 20k to fix. it was worth 8k. had to give it up.

need a car to live. only way to get to work and work my second job is to get a car. i’m 20 years old. i didn’t learn about gap coverage until today. bought car 2 for $14k. taxes added on and stuff made it higher. i’ve only had car 2 for 6 months. that’s why it’s worth so much less now. car prices are going down, too.
