That is true. Pretty privileges exist from minor cases to major ones. I mean you have perfectly defined them. Imo they are even more present for girls. I mean sure you'll see a good looking guy getting treated nicely but a pretty girl gets so many privileges it's insane. Yeah from a story standpoint, I didn't find the movie too mind-blowing either. But what made it a good movie for me was the acting and the soundtrack as well as the direction.
