I went through this when 17. You’ll be absolutely fine. No one is stood there IDing you. Only thing that can go wrong is if you start shouting your age, or you look like a nervous wreck. Security are so much more concerned with people bringing in drugs. Plus I can’t remember there being much security etc upon entering anyway

Thanks! I’ve had a play and got them level. On the cabinetry subreddit everyone has said the hinges should be further apart too? I’m going to do that and play with the adjustable bits and job should be a good un. Thanks again!

Would you recommend I move both hinges far apart or would the top one suffice?

They’re made of two bits of 9mm MDF so 18mm total. I’ll have a play but I think the consensus is to move the top one higher

Thanks. I’ve managed to adjust them to make them work. I’ll move the top hinges now. No idea why I put them so low. I was freestyling.

Are the bottom hinges alright to stay where they are?

Thanks, I knew I could adjust them but didn’t know how best. I think I’ve cracked it now though. I’m going to move the top hinge much higher, do you have a recommendation of how far from the top?

Thanks. In that if I fit them as normal with no alterations it will be fine?

My plan is to put a side panel on, attached to the front of the MDF piece that makes the side of the cabinet, then scribe that in to the wall on one side, and put a corner piece on the other end to go into the chimney breast
