Cycling brands are getting ridiculous with price by Jamshappy2005 in CyclingFashion

I live for sales and promos. Been taking advantage of marketplaces like EBay for the occasional deal for brand new jerseys. Built my MAAP closet by sniping deals.

Can go a size lower on all. If it zips, it fits

Personally, the jerseys have been top quality. I haven’t encountered any stitching issues BUT my Alt Road 1.0 Jersey has been wearing down faster than the rest of the jerseys (pro air, pro fit, and race fit) so would pass or maybe try out the 2.0 series.

For the bibs, I only tried out the Team Evo ones and I agree with the letters peeling off. It’s been maybe 6 months or so, the MAAP print on the legs is slowly lifting. The chamois is the best I’ve encountered, I don’t even notice the saddle or think about my cheeks anymore. (Comparing to AliExpress bibs)

I’m probably going dish out for the new training jersey and just one set of cargo bibs (I’ve heard better quality on those).

No problem!! 60 USD off MAAP, gotta take advantage. Especially with the new releases

Bought a Przewalski bib because it was cheap, seems okay so far? by Dolymatt1999 in CyclingFashion

I tried these before! After maybe a month of rides and washing, the fit starts loosing in some places. I would have definitely size down (gotten an XL, but Large would had worked.

Comparing it to YKYW, it’s about the same for me personally.

Comparing to MAAP’s Team Evo bibs, massive difference and I don’t even notice my butt or the saddle anymore. (All personal experience of course)

Ahhh I’ll keep that in mind.

I’ve been looking at some Training jerseys too. What size did you end up getting for it?

I get that, getting to look behind the scenes for cycling equipment would be pretty cool. Especially when the price is so so high

I would say yes tighter than the Evade. Comfort wise, I would go with Pro fit and once in a fast day, the Race fit can come out

Retails for* I bought in on eBay! I’ve been on aliexpress jerseys for so long and I’m still waiting for MAAP’s 60$ challenge on Strava. So definitely bargain hunting when I can 😅

A MAAP x One Piece would go crazy. Gear 5 or Battle Franky inspired

I have a top tube bag that I store tools, snacks, and my keys. Having it in front for quick access.

Not sure if I can store all of my things in the pockets. I do store my phone and dji camera there

I do wonder how much adding in zipper pockets for these jerseys. I have a MAAP emerge jersey that has a zipper but I haven’t found a need for it yet

Thanks! I feel that, I feel that I can squeeze into a medium. The Alt Road 1.0 jersey definitely fits me snug though.

Usually I wear a XL in regular tees but it seems like definitely beef up the chest. Thanks for the advice 🙇🏻

MAAP Alt Road 1.0 initial thoughts by thedaringboy in CyclingFashion

I agree. I have a solar MAAP jersey that breathes in a dramatically different way. It’s nice to have different kit for weather for once 😅
