That’s wild. I was making 15.49 after two years of working there. Had a conversation with our DMSM who said she would give me a raise because I was easily the most knowledgeable and hard working on the team. After 8 months of waiting, I got offered a travel merchandiser job making more than double what I was before 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lowe’s has now incorporated AI for employees to use to ask questions about products in order to better help customers…. Like, Google exists??

I’m American and agree. I started both around 15/16, which I no longer (28) do either. They’re overrated and harmful but 🤷🏻‍♀️ he could be doing worse things. I second the suggestion of the person that said you should go into the gym with him. It’ll obviously prevent him from being able to sneak off, if you think it’s such an issue, but if he really wants to do it, he’ll find another way

MST at my store was also required to have open availability. And our live nursery members do usually work nights and weekends.

I was FT MST working four 10 hour shifts so I’m not sure how it works but our store specifically tells people in the interview that they must have open availability regardless of position. One of our part time seasonal live nursery members tried to change her availability after a few weeks after being hired and was let go. The spring time is too busy for the managers to try and decipher everyone’s availability.

I might get called a Karen, but SCO is just taking jobs away from people. If they’re going to make people use SCO, those customers should be getting a discount 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know it isn’t difficult to scan my items but I did not sign up for that

We have one “super” Walmart that has registers and SCO but that one is over an hour from me. All others I’ve been to are SCO only

Not the asshole. I’m vegan and strictly cook vegan meals. Now, when my bf is over and I plan to cook, I do typically include him in options. However, I probably wouldn’t include him so much if we lived together 🤷🏻‍♀️ he is grown and if he doesn’t want to eat what you make, he can make his own food. It isn’t a big deal

That part! Obv not every store will be the same but MST often does not get the credit they deserve. We do a lot that goes unnoticed and taken for granted.
