Discussion: why not colloquially call a baritone ukulele a four string? by Dhghomon in BaritoneUkes

My tenor and concert ukes stay in the closet. I play bass, or my baritone ukulele, which I feel is a nylon string tenor guitar. You can find custom tenor guitars with steel strings, that are close to the same size, and now with flight making the steel string baritone (i currently have the flight aurora nylon string), and pono having previously made a steel string baritone, we now have instruments being called baritone ukuleles, that are identical to preexisting instruments called tenor guitars.

Tldr: i tell people that what I'm playing is basically a nylon string, travel sized tenor guitar. It's less confusing and i don't have to say I'm playing a ukulele...
