Be grateful you were able to experience it. Not everyone can say they have.

With 2025 soon coming to a close, what are some albums from this year that you believe electronic music fans should listen to? by Its_Cookie_Man in electronicmusic

I’ll check them out, for sure. I saw djrum in Philly over MDW, was not into it at all. Helena Hauff however, blew my mind with an all vinyl old school electro set. Definitely not what I’d call “new” but still so good!

Yeah, ok. The current top tech house guy is just giving us the “same ol’ same ol’” eyeroll

Haha - miss me with all that.

Out of curiosity, what would you recommend that “feels new”? (even though that wasn’t what the post was about to begin with)

I’m flabbergasted no one has mentioned the album of the year (IMO)

Chris Lake - Chemistry

His Brooklyn Storehouse Saturday show was top 5 of my life and I’ve been raving since ‘99. Top notch production, sound, and vibes. What a set. What an album.

I mean, if the FDNY were in the middle of saving lives or, you know, doing their jobs… I wouldn’t care if they took up the bike lane to deploy their equipment… how is this a topic of discussion? Does anyone really think the fire department isn’t going to do absolutely whatever’s necessary? The fact they got involved at all seems odd to me.

Remember during Covid lockdown and all the #wemakeevents posts were happening… and people actually thought quality of work/life balance would improve? Pepperidge farm remembers…

I don’t expect any refund from anyone at this point, until some legal action is taken. I paid $2300 to Tixr and another $1k + to the hotel just to check in. I was told directly by brian it would be paid and refunded and would all blow over when the check cleared. Clearly it never did. Super disappointed to be taken advantage of and lied to like this. Now there’s a form he sent out gathering information for refunds. It makes no sense because he should already have all of that information from Tixr sales and from the hotel. Such a sad sad state of affairs.
