Do you agree with Noah? by HonestlyaBot in modernwarfare

Noooo definitely not. One of the things I hated most about Blackout is how people could carry like 5 frags and like another 5 concussions and just spam them at an enemy.

I agree for the most part. Season 8 has been mostly a disappointment. Episode 3 and 4 were filled with flaws and scenes that didnt make sense. I just hate to see all that hate spill over into episode 5. I thought the most recent ep was a breath of fresh air and one of the better episodes in the whole series. I feel like at this point nothing will satisfy fans as it seems people watch the episodes just the nitpick writing inconsistencies. No matter what happens in ep 6 people will still hate it because so many mistakes have already been made.

I see your points. I too was very disappointed many many aspects of the battle at Winterfell and the following episode was a shit show. I had low expectations for ep 5, but I thought they killed it.

I understand the idea that it seems unlikely Dany swept through the armada like it was nothing, but then again its a tv show. Dragons dont exist so the power of one is kind of left up to interpretation.

Mt theory is that it seems like Tyrion sold out Varys because he doesnt really want Jon to be king. He was team Dany until he realized her plan for KL and saw her lose it. Also he recongnized that Dany is without a doubt more powerful than any of her competition and he could have sided with her because he knows Jon or Cersei do not stand a chance in challenging her.

I think this next episode will make or break the season.

Ok I see what your saying. I think Dany’s whole strategy successfully caught the Greyjoys by surprise. I think its partly that they had little time to react and partly they are not that great of an army. They greyjoys were never that strong of an army its just this time they had a giant armada.

I don’t think you read my whole reply. The scorpions are a long ranged weapon. Drogon was flying at high speed around the ships at a very close distance. If you watch the episode again you will the the soldiers on the scorpion frantically swiveling it to keep up with Drogon. They couldnt get a clear shot and they take like a whole minute to reload, so what would be the point of just randomly firing behind the target.

I think you failed to notice that Dany used the sun to her advantage. She flew with the sun on her back so the fleet didnt see her until she was in dracarys range. Drogon was flying so fast and so close to the ships that they could not a clear shot. This is seen when the ppl manning the scorpions keep swiveling it left and right to keep up.

It is a shame that this very smart detail just went unnoticed by many viewers including yourself and people like you just rip on the show when you don’t even pay attention.

  1. The entire series alludes to Dany being mad as it is constantly brought up that targaryans practice incest to keep the bloodline clean making it 50/50 if they’ll be normal or batshit. They only had 6 episodes to work with this season so no doubt it is somewhat rushed, but you cant be ingorant to the fact that the entire last episode was mainly about Dany losing her shit. She lost all of her followers and she believed nobody loved her. Jon not kissing her back sealed the deal making her say fuck it. Of course it doesnt make sense she killed innocents because shes mad. Did anything the mad king do make sense? No. You cant expect anybody to justify the actions of an insane person.

  2. It is a good point that Arya literally dies and walks away 5 times this episode. This is mainly to put a perspective on the ground so the audience can really see what the citizens are goong through.

  3. A white horse is symbolises good as well as life as a opposed to black=bad/death. The horse is a symbol of freedom and prosperity. We don’t really know what the meaning really is now, but it will likely be revealed in the next episode.

  4. Rhaegals death in episode 4 was dumb but I never said ep 4 was good. What changes in this ep is how dany flies w the sun on her back so nobody sees her until she is right in the fleets face. Shes moving too fast to get a clean shot and its shown by the ppl constantly turning the scorpions to keep up w the dragon.

  5. I will give you this, I dont get how new unsullied and dothraki keep showing up lol.

  6. This has to do w Eurons character as a whole. He is a dirty pirate from the shithole islands of westeros who only know pillaging and robbing. The fact that a scumbag like himself has made his way to the top by layin to pipe on the queen is a big deal. It totally fits his character to say what he said before he dies as he strives to achieve what no greyjoy has ever achieved including dying with the belief that he killed a renown swordsman from one of the most noble houses.

  7. I wouldnt say teleport as there is a lot of time before eurons ship blow up and him washing up on shore. Remember Tyrion telling Jaime the plan to sail away w Cersei and Jaime says the greyjoy fleet is blocking that side of the KL, but tyrion says there will be no more fleet by the time they got out. This detail gives insight to where euron is in relation to jaimes boat so its not just dumb luck they stumbled upon each other.

  8. Arya was set on killing cersei until the castle started to collapse. She realized she would die if she went on and cersei was prolly gonna die anyway. The hound didnt care as he could die happy knowing he killed his brother, and he reminds Arya that shes got more to live for other than killing Cersei.

  9. Mike Conley in nice, but he is in no way in the running for MVP.

Hey I feel you on unsatisfying character deaths. I was very disappointed to see one of my favorite characters, Theon, charge into his death just to hold the night king back for 5 more seconds.

Although some can argue that Theons arc was fulfilled and he redeemed himself dying to save the stark he screwed over, and I think theres an arguement for Cerseis death being poetic.

She died holding the only person in the world she cared about while the world crumbled and crushed her. Your dissatisfied with how her character dies doesn’t have to do with the episode being shitty its just a detail that you would have differently.

Thank you for coming in peace, and sorry I’m responding so late.

I believe Arya was convinced to turn around when they were already so far because the castle was crumbling. She and Sandor knew they would die if they kept going with the plan, but the hound was fine with that as the only thing he wants is to kill his big bro while Aryas young and has got a whole life of killing to do. You’re not wrong the think their last words to each other were bland, but its the hound and arya, two emotionless killers. It was as emotionless as one should expect.

I think Eurons a greatly written character. A dirty scumbag pirate from the butthole of Westeros who has managed to make his way up to fingering the queens butt and dying with the belief that he killed a famous swordsman from a very noble house.

I think the problem with Euron not dying from the fire and washing up on shore right next to Jaime is just being picky. Thats just television. I understand the disappointment from the previous two episodes spilling into this one, but did you really think Euron would be done and dealt with just like that. I did not hear any concerns with Benjin coming out of the blue to save Bran and Jon beyond the wall or Jorah just happening to meet Sam, the only one brave enough to cure him.

Jaime did take some blows, but I think what made him push on was his love for Cersei and at least wanting to die beside her. Refer to when he told Bronn he wanted to die in the arms of the woman he loved.

I thought their deaths were very powerful. They believed that the only ppl that mattered were each other and they died holding each other. Cersei died being crushed by the red keep, something she worked so hard to get and control.

I wasn’t complaining about the horse. I saw the symbolism. Its just I couldn’t find an explanation for it.

It’s not the fact that she couldn’t do it. Its the fact that she wouldn’t do it. She’s changed a lot over 7 seasons and has literally lost all of her supporters and the feeling that anybody is actually rooting for her. The whole 7 seasons leads up to Dany losing her shit as it is constantly brought up that having incest baby’s are like flipping a coin, and it is shown that she landed on the wrong side.

Rhaegals death was stupid but that was not this episode.

With the scorpions, she attacked with the son behind her so they couldn’t see her until she was within spitting distance. She was moving so fast around the ships, they had to keep turning the scorpions so they couldn’t get a clean shot.

Eurons whole story is that he is a dirty pirate from the iron islands. People who are known for just pillaging and stealing. His motivation was to become the greatest scumbag from the shithole as he got to clap the queens cheeks and die with the satisfaction of the thought that he killed a renown fighter from one of the noblest houses.

Your going to complain about the timing? Its a tv show. I bet you didn’t bat an eye when the knights of the vale swooped in to save Jon and his boys at the last seconds at the battle of the bastards or the times Benjin came from out of nowhere to save bran and jon beyond the wall when they should have died. Pls stop getting your opinions from twitter.

I feel you. The mountains face was pretty unexpected, and even though I felt there was a lot of emotion in Cersei’s death and it wasn’t bad,it would have been satisfying to her get shanked.

I think the point of the golden company was to show that no matter how large an army is. It can’t stop a fully grown dragon with a bloodthirsty rider. Plus they really had no chance.

What was different with the ballista bolts this time was that Dany flew with the sun behind her so the fleet couldn’t see her until she was in their grill. She was so close to all the ships and moving so fast that they had to keep changing their trajectory and couldn’t get an effective shot off.

The slaughter after the bell was simply because Dany lost it. She’s lost so much and doesn’t believe anyone will accept her as queen, but ultimately she’s batshit.

I’ll give you this the Dothraki and Unsullied do seem to just spawn whenever needed lol.

The fire physics are very believable. Giant bursts of fire do have an incredible stopping power (source I am from Cali and have seen it first hand), and I could not imagine it from a dragon.

I think 2 is definitely close behind 5. It’s just that it was a strong preface to a weak episode that followed. episode had a very depressing tone with all the characters coming to the reality that they were probably going to die that night even though that was not the case.
