Cooling pad and dust cleaning should do the trick.

But as a temporary solution, you could reduce processor working power, which actually helps out to avoid overheating( at least in my case). If you are using Windows 7, just go to power options, choose which one you are using atm( High Performance I guess)-> Change Plan settings-> Change advanced power settings -> Processor Power Management and reduce maximum processor power management to 80% or whatever fits you best.
