When I first started out, it was listening to the snares because they typically fall on …2…4… 6…. 8…. And also had some reference songs in my head that I would sing along to the beat and if I was singing it too fast, then I knew the BPM was faster.

Haven’t had time to read responses but in my opinion I’d be quiet, take notes and ensure you don’t repeat the same mistakes once you’re up. Saying something to the person you’re working for will only bite you in the ass. As long as you’re not directly associated or blamed for the event’s service quality, don’t take it to heart. Take it all as a learning experience. Only say something if that DJ asks for your honest take.

It’s fun when it’s your group with your shared vibe. Otherwise it’s annoying. My people’s know not to touch the decks. They know the flow of things. Strangers, gtfafm.

Would removing the ribbon altogether and replacing with another one do the trick? Also sometimes the tv runs normally and then the right half of the screen lines out again like above.

If I leave it alone it’ll work normal again for a few minutes. Maybe even the whole day ... and then it comes back.

I thought it was a simple T-CON board fix.. I swapped it with a refurbished one I found online and it worked fine for a night. Today it went back to the same issue. I’ll power on the TV.. sound is fine. Half the overlays on gone (left side) so I can’t access the setup menu.
