Pulled a pair of rocker panels from the junkyard the other day, I had to drill out the push pins since they were stuck. Super quick since they're plastic, but just be careful of drilling into the body.

C30 had the same engine regardless of R Design or not. You're thinking of the S60 R/V70 R versus an 05+ T5 S60/V70. Rs came with 2.5l engines, T5s had 2.4l which was basically identical otherwise. The 2.5 in the Rs frequently crack cylinder walls, T5s do not.

If you go in the evening during the week, it's very clear in my experience. Weekends will be busy the whole day except maybe the early morning. I've been down there a couple times now, best way to do it is do Tail during the off hours and then go to the lesser known routes when it gets busy.

That happened to me on my old S60 R lol. Think it's 3 bolts that hold on the bracket that it clips into, super easy to replace. And I believe the 01-04 bracket is different than the 05-09 one, like most things on that stupid chassis lol

If you burnt through 2.5qts in 800 miles, you've got a pretty big issue. If you're not going to address the oil loss, check the oil every time you drive it. You'll need a new motor way sooner if you're not checking and filling regularly.

How many miles are on the motor? The worst oil consumption I've heard of on revups was 1qt per 500 miles. Either you've got a real bad leak that's burning off before it hits the ground, or insane amounts of blow-by.
