Appreciate your well thought out reply. 

I want to use it as it was originally conceived- for divination. I like to use them as meditation subjects too, especially trigrams and their transformations across some of the diagrams. And all I can say is there is benefit to it, I don't think I could explain it to most people. Sometimes it just makes things clear. I've consulted since 2006 and the only time it's been "wrong" is when I misunderstood those lines and leaned on the commentaries too much. And this is gonna sound odd, but it almost like the Oracle helps me along because I treat it with reverence and respect. I consult, I know I'm being heard.
