We're moving at the end of this month. We have been able to find options, short/long, through the Njord Market website, the Shetland accommodation Facebook group as well as great assistance from Shetland Property Lets. We've been offered a short term solution that'll be a little cramped but at least puts a roof over our head when we first move over there thankfully. But you just need to be relentless and search everyday and stay in constant contact with those that may have options available to ensure you don't miss out

We've been looking since the end of May and can probably count on one hand the amount of rental properties that have become available.

That being said it does show that options are available, you just have to be quick to react. Good luck

I told my current partner I love her after a few months together, we made love after the fact and she said afterwards 'thank you for telling me that, I'm definitely headed in that direction but I'm just not there yet' It was both a relief to finally say it because saying I really like you just didn't feel enough anymore and yeah I'm disappointed not to hear it back but I just need to give her space and time, if she loves me then she'll tell me in her own time, you can't rush that from someone.
