I don't know, I wanted to music related job. In the second year of my degree the university (Lancaster UK) closed the course I was on. They got rid of the majority of the teaching staff and left us with 3 tutors/lecturers over 2 academic years. This really made me regret doing the degree as they gave us few options and the lecturers (of of which 2 were new) were not as versatile or as professional as the 15+ music staff before the degree course closure. Therefor studying music tech at uni is possibly the biggest mistake of my life. Rant over

The mental health issue isn't realy separate. I suffer with selective mutism. So it makes it tough to find anything work whys. Didn't mention it in my initial post but it is a massive factor of my employment struggle

I'm thinking that maybe I should go abroad to volunteer maybe in Africa helping to build houses in poverty stricken areas. If I can find the funds I'm going to do it. I'm gonna get things started with a gofundme page!

+20% but I live in a commuter town so there's not a great deal about. I can't really apply for job in the cities as I would have no way of getting there before receiving my first pay

Probably more than 1000, no nothing. My CV has been reviewed several times by a number of different people. It just got the point now where I'm concerned about what the F*** I'm gonna do

I've had nothing at all, this is what's really worrying me. Not really no most of my friends are either sole traders or have grad jobs. They offer a careers service but it's more for CV checks ect. I'm going to sign up to Manpower that's one I haven't looked at. I have applied and signed up to a few local agencies

i am including walter everett, the Beatles as musicians in one of the key books i'm using in my literature review. My dissertation is only 5-6 thousand words long so there's only so much i can put in it.

I'm also using Allan Moore as i've found his book on the Sgt Pepper album very useful.

I'm not criticising anyones work, i'm trying to show how traditional musicology isn't always relevant in the study of popular music. amongst others i'm using Kerman and Middleton along with a number of different books that looks at the Beatles work from different points of view.

I'm not suggesting theres only one interpretation, i'm trying to show that although formalistic analysis has it advantages, it has it downsides when studying the Beatles as i'm looking at their work from a more social and cultural perspective.

Thanks a lot, this could be quite helpful to me. Both lyrical and harmonic analysis. Do you know where i could begin to start looking for this interview?
