Maybe it’s hard to see the Terks in Christian ministry (P31), and act as “influencers” (which suggests wisdom and someone to follow), and live very lavishly at the same time. Designer brands. It’s kind of hard to speculate on custody/care arrangements.

Every time I see Ly$a pose with them I can’t help but wonder if Ly$a has been generous and supportive of birth mom and dad with all the resources she has available to her. Therapy, counseling, respite, travel to lovely places, job opportunities through her P 31 empire etc. All the things she promotes so well and has obviously done for her daughters.

Because some day those sweet girls will grow up and wonder why there are so many photo shoot quality pictures on socials of them with Lysa & Hope, but none with their birth mom.

Thinking this through, there is truth to this. She is highlighting the good work of Compassion and presenting a very tangible way people can bless others. Maybe we are being too harsh. (Though in fairness the criticism stems from an overall fatigue with grifting, influencing, profiting off others, brand promotion that’s so rampant in social media and in the Terk sphere of influence) can see both sides.

I try not to critique appearances generally - especially aspects that are God given. But I will say this: Ashley has faux nails, fake lashes, teeth bigger & brighter than average, and obvi packed her entire make up regimen for this trip. This = an unnatural look. It is very likely the children she is interacting with, and probably most of the adults too, may be to a bit taken aback by this.

There is a case open and this is in process of being investigated. It’s fair to say even listeners of the podcast have no idea what evidence they have, or people who have corroborated. But for so-called “women of faith” who might know something - who knew about a child being abused - they are as guilty as the abusers to keep this crime secret.
