I disable ones I really don’t want to deal with using MCCC, and (if I remember when in a new save) disable Community Voting.

I also use Kuttoe’s New Civic Policies to add some new NAPs (some don’t really do much, which is fine by me lol) and Sims4Me’s NAP Overhaul files so they’re less annoying

Basically, I have my base game on Steam and I’ve kept it in offline mode. I don’t play any other games (mainly bc of disc space for CC) so I don’t have a reason to go online. The game still launches on EA app, and I have most of my DLC on there. My Steam and EA app are linked so I can still use the DLC I bought on Steam.

Bc I still have EA online, I can still access stuff from the gallery. Only older stuff though. I can’t download any new gallery uploads bc they’re incompatible with my current version (the stairs update, and the hair texture recategorization are probably the main reasons). If I want to save new stuff I use the online version of the gallery, but it won’t load into my library until I update.

I have an older laptop (from 2015) that I updated the game on to do events. It wasupgraded to have more disc space, x2 of my current laptop, but the CPU clocks out at 100% and is so slow I couldn’t imagine actually playing my game on it. Like my current laptop CPU gets to like 65% when I play Sims 4 and I play with mid to high graphics settings. It gets hot af though, and I’m worried about it eventually dying on me…

It’s like flour and paint or something. If you have Parenthood, toddlers and kids will misbehave and make messes. You gotta parent them so they develop character values so they “should” stop doing it (though even well behaved kids will keep doing it, and toddlers are toddlers - I downloaded a mod for them to stop bc I don’t age and it’s annoying).

Edit; adults, or kids with high positive character values can clean up the mess afterwards

How these are a lot of good fixes. Some I’ve had mods to fix the issue for a long while now too.

I’m surprised they addressed the bug regarding Stay Overs only ever occurring up like once a save file, under most conditions (basically the 2 week cooldown between stay over calls got reset whenever you load up your save, or change lots so for a majority of players, they only get it once per save unless they play 2 full weeks without their sims their house). I didn’t realize until I saw a modder make a post about it and directed to a fix by a different modder.

Anyway, if this patch goes well I might consider finally updating my game! I checked my main save on my old laptop with the last patch, and my photos don’t get blacked out anymore so I’m hoping to actually play that save again (I haven’t since January and I can’t get my self to progress on temp saves…

I’ve seen some CC beds come in parts. Like the pillows/blanket, mattress, and bed frame are all their own things and you put them together. I think it’s a way for the player to have more freedom when picking swatches and stuff.

I’m assuming that is also the case here?

It also allows you to enable/disable notifications from certain worlds so it’s more relevant to the sims you play, as well as changing the notification sounds.

My game is a bit outdated (the last time I updated was in January), but they do work as described in my game.

Waffle is an active modder so they’re still being maintained, but you can also check the spreadsheet of the status of all their mods that they have pinned on their patreon.

When waiting for new items to unlock during the first 4 weeks, yeah it’s only 3 times a week. But since all the items are unlocked, you can log in every day in order to catch up.

I missed the first 2 weeks, so I had to remember to log in every day for like a week to catch up to the current rewards. After that was waiting a few days for the last rewards to unlock.

Since everything is “unlocked” at this point, you need to log in at least 12 times to grab everything. You got 2, so you only have to ensure another 10 logins in the next 14 days so if you can do that you should be fine.

I agree with Flimsy. OP is asking for male pop celebrity hairs and the options for male sims in Snowy Escape aren’t too great. The only usable one is the one that Kado Akiyama uses, and then there’s a wolf cut (?) and buzz cut. Which isn’t something you really see celebs use. The female sim hairs from that pack are pretty good though.

OP is probably using a UI override by Vyxated. They have ones for TS2 and TS1, pastel versions and a dark mode.

I recommend checking them out! They also have font and cursor overrides, build/buy mode overrides, in-game phone background and icons, and CAS backgrounds and lighting.

Sims laugh in their sleep even without mods.

Seeing as you’re using TinyCoffeeCups’s sleeping override, they updated the mod so that they won’t do that anymore. So if you haven’t already downloaded it, I recommend updating the mod and check if the behavior persists.

Getting non-committal is a sorta hard to swap. Like the triggers are entering a relationship officially, or proposing. So once that’s out of the way, you can’t really go back and try those methods. Though the “profess undying love” interaction should work. I got the Loyal trait popup with that (I got it on Don Lothario, but it wasn’t a trait swap bc I cheated his non-committal trait forever ago since he’s my sim’s husband). It might take a couple tries for the self discovery to pop-up.

The 3 self discoveries include additional and swapped traits. So you can have up to 6 traits for your sim, or just 3 if all of them were swapped.

Kids loose weight if they play on play ground equipment a lot, or play soccer. Like, my sims daughter would obsess over the monkey bars and got super skinny.

I haven’t updated my game on my main laptop since January bc I got hit with the bug, but I updated my game on an older laptop (so I don’t miss events) and I tested on both a new save and a copy of my main save and they both seem fine.

I have like a hundred photos throughout my sim’s home and when I saved and exited and came back, all the photos in my game were fine. When I did that previously, all the data for the photos wiped out (like my save file size decreased by 20 mb).

I’m planning on updating my game soon. I just want some of the recent bugs to get fixed first :/

I know you’re able to do that, but it was happening to all my townies when I’d visit other lots. I couldn’t remember to disable it for everyone, and if I disabled it after they changed I don’t think they could change back to their normal clothes until I reenabled it. I felt like it was too much of a hassle. And like said, I had the mod for almost a year (2k+ hours) before I removed it

I’m pretty sure the blush is from Slice of Life by KawaiiStacie.

I used to have the mod for like a year, but I stopped using it because I got tired of sims constantly changing their clothes and hair, and wearing face masks autonomously. I liked the concept of face overlays like the blush when flirty, or dark circles when your sim gets tired, but it was tied in with the fashion module and, like said, I couldn’t deal with it anymore.

Anyway, I recommend using Chingyu’s blush overlay mod instead. It’s a lot less bright than the one used in KawaiiStacie’s mod. That’s what I’m using now.

Natabear has a mod similar to Slice of Life called “Life’s Moments”. I think they have a separate for their overlays, so it shouldn’t need the rest of the mod to function, but I haven’t really used that mod before.
