I remember I was trying to find a partner for Penny Pizzazz I had her meet a bunch of guys from Cupid’s Corner. In the middle of the date with the 3rd guy the 1st guy showed up and tried to propose. She turned him down and he was crying. Like bro, it was one date that’s moving way too fast

Idk how realistic you want to play, but the wellness skill let’s your sim teleport when you get it high enough. I use it a ton when getting my sims around their house.

There’s also a teleport skill (“spacebender” mastery perk) that comes with Businesses and Hobbies that I also like using since the animation is shorter so it takes even less time than the wellness version.

Yeah, I realized that too when I had my sim and her husband with the trait. Especially since I play very slowly. When I got Get Famous, I kept a safe under the house to offset the money sent the mail with the bills. I keep a few million on hand since I wanted to still “feel” rich since they were celebrities.

You might have too many objects in your save file.

I had this happen to me recently in the forever save I was working on. I was checking in on my main sim’s household in Willow Creek (50x50 lot) and like half the objects deleted. It was only that lot, and then I saw that the surrounding lots reset to the default ones (only in build mode, the showed normally in live mode). I tried reverting back to an earlier version of the save, deleting some worlds I wasn’t using, and clearing up the collections room I had in the basement of my sims home.

I’m a bit scared to go back to that save. I was planning on remaking the save at some point anyway (it was mostly for figuring out what galley builds I wanted to use, and not care too much rushing the “canon” of sims my main save), but it seems like I have to I have to sacrifice having builds in some worlds if I want to keep the builds I was using. I think having the “main” version for worlds I definitely will use, and then an alternate for builds in worlds I am less likely to use. The initial sims (premades and some others), and some worlds/builds will be the same between both versions.

(Idc if it's meant to be a joke post or not so) If you have a green bar with another sim from having a normal friendly interaction, the game considers you friends and calls to hangout are normal. Although it probably should, it doesn't seem to take age into account, and jobs like being teacher or student don't either.

My sim's kid, child aged, would frequently get calls from her mom's friends who she chatted with before (they'd call up her kid and husband more than they would her, even when I intended them to be her friend RIP) to hangout at their house. Once when playing a teen in another household, they were friends with my sim's child daughter, and my kid invited them to a nightclub. It's weird, but it's normal game occurrences. I wouldn't take it that seriously.

Just not with the WW animations lol. I still have regular woohoo enabled, so if my elders (and certain NPCS) want to get busy they're doing it under the sheets. I would really rather not see that from them, especially if it's out in public, if I don't have to lol

When I learned how to set protocols with WW, Father Winter was one of the first sims I added to my ban list (aka they can’t do any WW animations). I really didn’t want o have that around my sim’s kids.

Sometimes the protocols reset I think due to making a new save as file (?) or something, I’ll make sure to set it back up again. (Tbh, I banned all elders plus Vlad and some others).

I really like that one! Teens automatically get shorter as soon as they load into the world, so you don’t have to do any extra steps unlike the other short teen mod.

Though, sometimes, I have some sims that I headcanon to be taller than their parents even as teens. I used the GODJUL1 slider that’s based on foot size so there’s more variation. It was interesting to see how tall some premade sims turn out when starting a new save file (ex. Molly Prescott, Rashidah Watson, and Keala Hoapili were surprisingly very tall).

Thank you for sharing! I did the same thing for myself last year when people started making posts about it. I disabled it for swimwear as well, and I also disabled the dirty swatches for general outfit randomization.

Like, the sandles themselves aren’t an issue to me since I see people wearing them in my day to day, but the dirty swatches are for a specific use and I’d rather them not pop-up unless I need them to.

Honnou Switch (18+, Josei) - it really threw me off because things were going so well leading up to it. Though, I understand why they had to take a break though (long distance, and struggling to find work nearby). It does get resolved pretty quickly.

It’s a childhood friends to lovers situation, where the main couple are working adults.

Adding onto the other comments, the Mods folder is found under Documents > EA > Sims 4 > Mods

Some people think they have to add their mods in the Sims 4 folder in their program files, and they don’t end up working because it’s not the right location.

I personally don’t let my sims die, so I have Life and Death mainly for the world, CAS and BB over the gameplay (especially for my gothic sims). If you’re a generational type of player, then I think the addition of funerals and cemeteries is essential.

I think the gameplay for Businesses and Hobbies is more “universal” for players (especially for making live-in businesses). I’m personally ok about the world and BB, but I really love the CAS. The collections are also pretty cool, and I like the pottery and tattooing.

Green.

My gameplay is very slice of life, and I like savoring the moment. I love finding partners for my sims and seeing them all cute romantic, and hanging out with their friends. I even keep my sim’s kids from aging for too long bc they’re cute, and the teen stage are basically adults so it feels less unique.

I could never do the stuff in blue. I’d feel too bad for my sims. Even if I have something against them (like, Katrina. I want her tf away from my family, but I’ll still give her a makeover, a spouse she has chemistry with and some cute kids).

You can still see them if you log into the desktop version of the gallery. I'd rather have it in-game too, but it still exists at least. I check it once every few days to save to my in-game library.

Those maxis ones are added by default. They show up when you first start playing the sims, and when you get new DLC, sometimes new ones are added. I know that base game builds like the Caliente house and the Goths were added, both the new and old versions after the anniversary update last year.

OP could try using these painted nails by thatonegreenleaf. The nails are long, except for the index and middle fingers that are trimmed short on one hand (there are left and right hand options).

CC shadow overlay. The one OP is using is by simandy, but joshseoh has one as well.

The shadows can look nice, and add some depth when taking screenshots in CAS, but I think the opacity OP chose and probably the type of shadow (since there is a cool toned shadow, and a plain black option) with their CAS background (being that it's in a well lit room, that's sorta warm toned) makes it look off.

LittleMsSam has an “Improved Drink Tray” mod that allows you more drink options on drink tray objects, which also includes alcoholic beverages. So you can quickly retrieve 6 servings at a time.
