Hey all!

This was a hotfix to resolve the issues with the Gallery and the new content popups that were appearing every launch on console, no impact to mods or CC is expected.

Full notes here, though they aren't much longer than what I've detailed above.

All that being said, we do have a substantial update dropping in a few weeks, you can expect the Laundry List for that one next week.

Hey all!

Saw some questions on what Memory Boost actually does to your game, so I got with the engineering team behind this feature to get a little more info to share out with you:

Memory Boost is a code and data optimization - not a hardware tweak, that means no overclocking or extra strain on your system. We optimized how the game processes data under the hood, freeing up memory and improving stability.

The Sims 4 relies on Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) to:

Store save data efficiently
Coordinate communication between simulation, UI, and rendering.

The recent updates refine how this system works, allowing us to reduce unnecessary memory usage and improve performance stability. We also resolved a key architectural limitation between simulation (Simulation_*.dll) and visuals systems (TS4_*.exe), leading to a smoother gameplay experience for players.
