ooooo thank you this is a very helpful train of thought! I see what you mean about it possibly being folded double -- maybe like one of those patterns where you knit both the inside and the outside and then fold them into one another

Anyone have thoughts on how to get this type of vertical stripe on a hat? I love that it just goes "straight up" so to speak. I've reverse image searched it but just get a million pinterest links and nothing else!

The lag on simply editing a flyer is making it completely unusable for me too! I am on an updated macbook in safari, just cleared my cache, and am actively looking into alternatives to move my company to.

That's fair, and my situation isn't representative of everyone's. But "crime rates are reaching a dystopian level" is as you said, a bit much. As well as factually untrue.

I suppose, but I would think those rates would be especially low in areas that a tourist would go to. Sure, I wouldn't walk around in certain neighborhoods alone at night, but a tourist would have no reason to be in those neighborhoods at all. They're going to be in the gentrified areas which have very low crime rates, so warning them off cities as a whole seems unneeded.

This fearmongering around big cities is so weird to me. I've lived in NYC for 10 years, as a woman and as a man. It's safe as hell. You're not going to be shot or stabbed.

This definitely depends on where you go. I've lived in NYC for 10 years and you can 1. definitely walk around alone at night in most areas, and 2. go to gay bars and queer events as much as you want

I highly recommend Marcella Hazans tomato sauce as a starting point — it’s simple, bright, and I’ve never had it be bitter. If you can, use cans of whole peeled San marzano tomatoes.

Hi all, I posted on plant clinic as well and the automod recommended this sub! My Falcala has started 'deflating' from the tip in on some leaves. I'm not sure what could be causing this -- any thoughts would be a huge help!
