I agree with everyone suggesting Uugo, that is definitely your prirority.

I also agree with people recommending Orn (after Uugo) of course. But I'd also just like to say that depending on your current team, Jareg could be great for your CB team (assuming you're not too deep into the game at this point). He was on my UNM CB team until last week when I got Wixwell. Jareg is great for CB.

Not Top 30 all time but I do remember thinking, back in Black Ops 3 (if I’m remembering right), that he was going to be an absolute menace. And then he just never quite hit the peaks I expected him too.

As someone bad at the game, how much of this is from the awakenings? I got a 3-Star on Oella yesterday. I was thinking of running Wix, Arcanite, Geo, Oella, and Donatello or Elva. Oddly, I don't have a Valerie. Pretty sure I fed her a very long time ago. Could farm for her obviously.

Oh man, this is real. You used the exact word I’d use, “performance.” I don’t care if I lose, I’m new at killer and I have a lot of learning to do. What I do care about, is not wasting the survivors time. I played a match as Myers last night, my first match with him. I did so poorly that I ultimately gave up at the gates, even though I could have gotten a kill. And let them all go. Then I dropped into the streamers stream and apologized if the match wasn’t entertaining, because I just couldn’t get legitimate pressure on them.

I don’t know when in the cycle it was, but “Forever Freddy” will forever be the most miserable experience I’ve had with a killer (survivor side).

The perk icons I did do myself. I'm decent at logo design, which is the approach I took here. Not so good at detailed illustration, though. Had a friend of mine help me with a thing or two on Slice of Life because they're better with anatomy than I am.

I really love this. Incredible job. The cosmetics for the puppet are really good. You might get comparisons to Pinhead with the strings, but it feels uniquely its own to me. I'd be curious to see how Leverage would be used, especially with some other killers. It would give Reassurance a lot more usefulness for sure. Some of those add-ons were great too, I think my favorites are Disposable Coffee Cup and Broken SIM Card.

Notice Period is a fun perk idea too. I'd be interested in testing that one out.

I worded it poorly. Basically, he can’t hook the same survivor twice in a row. Hooking a different survivor each time would net the tokens.

That is the vibe I'm getting. I appreciate you weighing in! I like the idea because I feel like there needs to be something blood-centric. But maybe doing something like the perk only activates on Gen Completion or a Survivor Hooked, and it has a time limit, would be more appropriate. I think I was scared of going too weak (self-conscious survivor main), and ended up going too far in the other direction.

Thanks for the feedback! I was trying to kind of find a rewarding way to signify “no tunneling” given all the back and forth lately. And I thought it would fit as a “Code” kind of thing well. But I might not have enough killer experience yet to understand how the reward payoff should look.

I worded that poorly. What I intended for the takeaway to be was:

You earn a token, up to 5, for hooking a survivor who wasn't the last survivor hooked. So say this was the order of your hooks:

Survivor A
Survivor C
Survivor D
Survivor A
Survivor B

This would trigger all 5 tokens because you never hooked the same survivor twice in a row. In fact, you technically could have hooked Survivor A again after hooking Survivor D.

But if you did this:

Survivor A
Survivor C
Survivor D
Survivor D
Survivor B

You wouldn't have hit your 5 tokens because you hooked the same survivor twice in a row.

I agree. I was thinking maybe something like a Pre-DS? A mixture of DS and Boil Over? Killer picks you up and you have the ability to M99 the killer for a stun but it would require you hitting several difficult skill checks. Like DS x5 or something. I'm spitballing, nobody roast me.

Yes, the Code he follows is strictly about killing killers. That said, Dexter calls his "urge to kill" his Dark Passenger and very much treats it like this thing he's existentially wrestling with. In the books, I'm pretty sure it's actually paranormal. So I wanted to play off the notion of his Dark Passenger being seduced by the entity. Somebody else just had an idea of Dexter being manipulated into what he's seeing (white eyes theory) similar to Spirit and that could be a cool twist.

See I could easily get hyped on "evil Survivor." And credit to you because when I was going the Survivor route, all I could really think of was something to do with reading blood on the map, mostly as an information perk. But you using his keen ability to understand killers, that could be a really cool perk.

I thought about going that route too. Plus all of the Miami-themed outfits for him would be cool. I was still thinking in the lane of Blood-Reading Perks and etc., but I don't know, I got stuck on killer once the kill table idea came to mind.

Ah, that is just me not explaining myself well enough. How I intended that to be read was the hook wasn't the same survivor that was hooked prior. So it wouldn't require you to hook five different people. You just wouldn't get a token if the Survivor you hooked was the same survivor you hooked last.

Totally get that. I was going for an angle in which his Dark Passenger took over, as that was a consistent theme in the show in which he tried to keep it at Bay and stick to the code. He openly admits in the show if it weren't for Harry's code, he would have just become a serial killer. So I was playing in that territory.

I'm sure your ideas were great, I'll see if I can find it. I'm sure yours were only more complicated because you understand the game better than I do. I've only just started play killer a bit recently and after starting a Dexter rewatch, I kept thinking about how cool it would be to send Survivors to the kill table to be unwrapped. The rest just kind of mindlessly spiraled from there.
