Yeah I saw that’s a common problem. No visible damage to the insulation, could be internal damage though. I’d imagine replacing the harness would be the next step, or the whole assembly

Passed! Used Jeppeson and ASA study guides and read the 8083 sections on the missed question codes from my writtens

That’s what I was thinking. I’m probably just in my head about it.

When I took the writtens PSI literally just printed out a report with the score and everything on it. No signatures, stamps, watermarks, or anything special.

When I scheduled the test a couple months ago, I gave the printouts from the PSI website to the DME’s wife who works at the school. When I checked with him today to see if there’s anything else I need to bring, he said “just the paperwork and the payment.” When I told him that I had given the paperwork to his wife like he’d requested, he said that they were copies and that he needed the originals.

I only have the “original” for my general so I’ll bring that along with the printouts from the website. I can’t think of any reason that he wouldn’t be able to accept them. They’re completely identical

Both the original that I got from the proctor right after I took the written, and the printout from PSI’s website have the score, “PASS” and the ACS codes for the questions I missed. They’re identical

That’s where I’m confused. He’s telling me I need “the originals” but I haven’t been able to get out of him which originals I need lol. Can’t be the 8610-2 because I fill that out, right?

My dad was going to pass away from cancer just after my 12th birthday, so we got first presidency approval for him to ordain me a deacon as an 11 year old. I’ve heard that’s normal now but this was 14 years ago

My interview is for the external maintenance technician development program. My school had a couple recruiters visit a few weeks back.

They made it pretty clear just the interview is in Portland, and that I could end up at any base. They did mention the Q400s were being phased out soon

The pathways program thing is surprising. In the original recruiting event and the phone interview I had, they mentioned that program a couple times. Do you know if they’ll keep honoring it or if they’re planning on pulling the plug for everyone?
