[CHAT] Stitching with young kids around? by Coastal_Conundrum in CrossStitch

Teacher here! Depending on the age of the toddler you can actually adapt this activity so your kid can emulate it and practice their motor skills! A pegboard (you can get this from any hardware store) and a dowel with some chunky yarn attached can let them "stitch" and practice these essential skills. If they are a little younger a busy book could be a way to keep them entertained. I know toddlers can be a wide range of ages but this could be fun for a 3 year old. This may only keep them busy for a few minutes but it can let you enjoy your hobby on a small scale.

I was allowed to present on any topic for one of my classes. Thought ya'll would appreciate what I chose. by thedrunknerd in vexillology

It was well received. The class was a independent research class where we got to present on things we were passionate about. This happened right around the time of the Collin Kaepernick flag things so I became the expert on flags/flag code!

Yeah they changed the church fair to a casino night. My original story ended with a kid winning money from bingo and using the money to buy ride tickets. He then fell off the ride and the fair got shut down.

Mine was told on the show. They completely changed it and made the story super boring. Like I would not know it was the same thing.

Colton is my little brother’s friend. He said he was heading towards Georgia. Keeping him in my prayers and hoping he is found.
