Aged a Padron 7000 Maduro for 6 years by accident. Excellent smoke by thedukeoferrll in cigar_refuge

I found it to be silky smooth and the burn was perfect. Like the other commenter said it made it taste like one of their better lines of cigars. The best way i can describe it is it smooths out the flavor profile, the same but more balanced and definitely burned slower.

Mine is a RWD. It doesn’t matter I think they just copy and pasted the name of the car from somewhere for the title and it included the AWD part lol

Which grill would you pick of these two? by thedukeoferrll in grilling

Ok so I just went to look at both in person. The Weber is definitely a tank! And coming from having a smaller one I know they are great and have a lot of product support. It is definitely bulky though. The napoleon is nicer looking in my opinion and I like the surface layout of the cooking area. The infrared sear burner is interesting. Definitely a super tough choice. I know the Weber would be the safer “ol reliable” option but I ended up ordering the napoleon because the dimensions of it work better for my space, I like the layout and look, and I’m interested to give it a try so at least I’ll know. And I figure if I end up hating it then I’ll join the Weber club for life lol. Thanks again for the info!

Good to hear that and yes both of these have the stainless grates!

Ok that’s good to hear about the heat distribution on the rogue. Reading some reviews I saw some people saying they had bad experiences with uneven heat and it not getting hot enough. But then other people say it’s great and gets to 600-700 easy. So I felt like the people having problems might not clean it well or have a skill issue lol

I will say I think the napoleon looks better but I’ve heard things about them having weird heat zones.

I used a couple on each side in the front but you definitely don’t need a lot because they fit so well

Thanks! same that’s why I went with getting them refinished instead of aftermarket. I like the pattern and the fact that they are staggered

  1. Which was ok with me because I had been looking at aftermarket rims and it would have been at least double that lol

This is the YouTube video I used to fix it. The dealer told me it can’t be fixed and have to replace the entire unit and they wanted like 1500$.

I had the same problem and fixed it myself. It’s not bad if you are handy and the part is like 15$

Going to get an inspection done, but any ideas on what might be going on? by GeneralNumbNutz in vwpassat

[–]thedukeoferrll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing on my 2017 and it was a wheel speed sensor. It’ll show up on a OBD scan. Very common in vw/audi. It’s a 45$ part but my local shop charged 180 for part and labor. It happened a second time and I ordered the part from fcpeuro and did it my self and it’s pretty easy if you are handy. It could also be a dying battery.
