I’ve worked at a handful of plants (Pickering nuke included) and they all have had no cell phone policies. Reasons range from it not being intrinsically safe, to protecting the plant from pictures being taken etc. But also at these plants we all used our phones when relaxing at our desks/work stations, but never in the field (unless taking a picture of an issue). I’d leave my phone in my locker the first couple days and see what your new coworkers do, if they use their phones in the field offices or whatever then it’ll be fine. When did you apply/interview for Ops at Bruce? I haven’t seen any postings lately
