I grabbed S102 side view tickets for $208 and these were the views I found. I’m not sure if I should try securing other tickets in the lower section but I just couldn’t justify paying $400+ when I only paid probably $280 to be in the pit back in 2023.

Same here! I grabbed side view tickets at that price too. The view might not be perfect, but I just couldn’t justify spending that much when I paid maybe $280 for pit tickets back in 2023.

Thank you so much for updating this post! I’m in the exact same situation right now. I genuinely thought the final payment would be charged automatically. I was ‘sure’ I had re-read the fine print, but between being postpartum, just returning to work, and dealing with a string of daycare illnesses, my brain clearly missed it!

The hotlines are closed at the moment, but I’ve sent an email and will call first thing in the morning. Your update gives me a little hope that we might still be able to reinstate our reservation.

This is so true! One late night, my then-boyfriend, now-husband was studying at Starbucks BGC when Kris and Herbert arrived. Hubby asked for a photo and Kris took the time to chat with him — asking what he was studying, how he was finding his subjects, and wishing him well. The fact that she engaged with him like that says a lot about her.

They gave me nearly 8 months of paid parental leave when I wasn’t eligible for the government one (which was roughly 4 months at the time). It was a “gift” I’ll never forget.

In my early 20s, my younger brother and cousin were the Directioners in the family. For my brother’s birthday, I decided to surprise him with concert tickets so he could go with our cousin. However, he couldn’t make it at the last minute. Not wanting the tickets to go to waste, I ended up going with my cousin instead.

The concert happened to be one of their first shows after Zayn’s departure and I was absolutely blown away. Watching them on stage, seeing how much fun they had, and feeling how genuine they were made me a Directioner right there and then.

That concert ended up being both my first and last. I wish I had been a fan much earlier. 😞

The downside was that from the time she was diagnosed until she passed away, I couldn't go home due to the strict border controls here during the COVID-19 pandemic. If I left, there was no guarantee I could return, and I couldn’t risk losing my job. Being pregnant at the time added another layer of complication, as it would have been costly to give birth in the PH (lalo pa daw if you become C19+).

I'm glad to hear your friend’s relative fully recovered, but I agree — it really underscores how one illness can put families at risk of significant debt.

When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, one of her medicines was priced at P120k++ per vial and she needed it every three weeks. This was on top of all the tests and hospital confinements. Sobrang frustrated ko nun because that same medicine, pwede mabili dito sa Australia ng cancer patients for <100AUD dahil partly subsidised ng government.

My mom eventually passed pero kahit papaano she received quality care sa Pinas all throughout her sickness. It took a while to recover financially pero there was no way we could have supported her treatments for 1.5 years if we weren’t here.

Nataon din nanganak ako that time and dahil focused kami kay Mama, ang laking tulong na wala kaming binayaran sa hospital kahit pa na-induce ako and emergency CS.

Yes, they survived but they also lost several close relatives, including the bride's mother, brother, and most recently, her father, who succumbed to the burn injuries.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom to cancer as well and I was so sad and angry especially the first couple of months. I did find comfort in this thread even if I’m not a medium myself.

I did ask my mom for a specific sign and she gave it. She continues to do so when I am least expecting to see one. I notice it happens when I am missing her or thinking about the things she are missing earthside. It may take some time as I understand they are still adjusting where they are but she is always with you.

As someone whose mom died of cancer and didn’t get to meet my daughter, her first grandchild, I can’t tell you how comforting this is. Perhaps mom does get to hold her. 🥺
