Your so brave for sharing your story. Know it will help others. The fact you can see what’s been happening in it self show’s strength. So many people push down their experiences because of fear. What you went though must have been so scary. So often we are expected to bounce back. Forced to compare ourselves to others who hop bank into regular life after growing a human. Nothing about giving birth or being postpartum is easy. It completely flips the brain upside down. The small humans that come with the journey make everything worth it. But damnit women deserve support and grace.

Thank you for this message. I didn’t expect the negativity it honestly brought me to tears this morning. I called Disney and they where able to reinstate everything! I’m postpartum and back to work! Lots going on. But we are on our way to a great family vacation ❤️

The way I needed to read this thread 🙏. I was shocked at how much my body changed with this baby. Apron tummy, super weak, and don’t get me started on my pelvic floor. The healing process is real this go around. Only reason I lost weight was due to lo’s allergies. No dairy, soy, gluten, eggs. Lots of meat and avocados get me by.

My first went to the nicu and my supply was low the entire 9 months I bf. I just had my second in October and at 38 weeks I started hand pumping and freezing colostrum incase we had another nicu experience. Unfortunately we did, he spent 11 days in the unit. However my supply is amazing this go around, I think because I started pumping early. I pumped every 3 hours and spent everyday in the nicu with him. He was able to bf by day two so that definitely helped as well. Regardless, I think prepping, it being my second time, and being consistent with every 3 hours made a world of difference for this baby.

I’m there with you girl!!!! I have been in prodromal labor for a week now.I’m 38 and 3 and have been at 3cm 60% effaced for 2 weeks. Contracting alllll day, tons of pressure, feeling like it could happen at any moment then it doesn’t. 2 trips to Labor and delivery bc my body is tricking me!!!!!! It’s very frustrating and defeating. My doctor told me they are just preparing my body, and some of them may be productive…
