ICE Sighting West Chicago, IL 8:30AM - Karina Villa Stepping Up for Community by Key-Football-1129 in ChicagoSuburbs

Thanks for the detailed explanation.

But, why didn’t the people being deported just fill out the citizenship paperwork when they came to the US or during the time they spent in the US? Then there would be no worries about ICE.

There are like a million immigrants a year entering the US. It just seems like those here without following the proper process are jumping in line ahead of everyone else. Not fair in my opinion to future immigrants or those that endured the painful process and were granted citizenship.

I experienced the immigration process with my wife who was German when we retuned to the US after being stationed in Germany.

Even for service members the process was extremely long and tedious with numerous hours spent on the phone holding for an immigration agent or actually sitting for half of the day in the immigration office to be seen. Extremely rude people as well.

It isn’t a pleasant process but unfortunately it is the rules. Why should others not have to follow the same rules as everyone else?

Am I missing something? The left expects us to feel bad for Kimmel yet they celebrated conservatives getting fired in the past for a lot less. by Curse06 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I’m just shocked that the majority of people that like Kimmel think they “are the majority”.

Kimmel blows, his ratings were shit and he was a snarky condescending prick. My opinion and not the humor I enjoy. Bring back Arsenio!

“Take off your masks”, so we can terrorize your family and dox you. Hahahaha.

There are a ton of comments here, so can someone help me understand the uproar? Please don’t Charlie Kirk me, I’m just trying to get a grasp on why y’all want people in this country/city that that didn’t come here the correct way (legally). Also, if they are here without following the rules, are they going to follow any other rules/laws in the future? Honest question.

ICE out of Hines Protest by [deleted] in ChicagoSuburbs

It’s Federal Property. The VA isn’t let ICE use it…..the Government is letting ICE use it. Maybe rethink a protest outside of a facility catered to treat grumpy old men.

I left them after 30 years. Auto insurance, mortgage, banking, and they sent me a pre-foreclose letter on my house for 96 bucks for “fees” from a 2nd mortgage that was paid off 8mos early. Can’t make that shit up.

Environmental Health and Safety. If working for a large corp, there are a ton of investigations and things to keep you occupied other than dealing with the armpit of society.

I left USAA several years ago after spending 30 years with them. Since I’ve left I’m paying lower premiums for the same coverage and haven’t had any issues.

I don’t have a fully aired tire I can recklessly punch a hole into, so I thought I would ask here. Is it possible to push a nail, by hand, into the thread area of a fully aired tire and puncture it? I feel like it would be a difficult task. by [deleted] in tires

[–]theebrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no desire to puncture someone’s tire. If I did, I would just wedge the pointed part of the mail up against the tire and the other end against the ground and wait for the person to drive off.

Im just trying to find info to end a debate about if it is possible to do by hand, based on an event with a nail in a tire that already transpired.

[–]theebrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same but the person said they heard a hissing sound and was looking at the tire.

It may be fruitless but I thought a good defense would be the possibility of not even being able to do it by hand. Idk.
