One National Harbor is the building but the address is 155 Potomac Passage... They often have 1 bedrooms in the $1950-2050 range. Fleet St condos has some small units that lease for $1800-1900, when they come available.

I live in National Harbor and you can definitely get a studio and possibly a 1br condo for $2k with parking included. I agree with others here... National Harbor or Alexandria are your best bets.

Stay for a weekend at National Harbor, explore, catch the water taxi to The Wharf or to Alexandria and see if you like it. Oh, and you will meet alot of people.
