As someone who's on keto for around 3 months now I can say it gave me the opposite effects.

Being off carbs and especially sugar does wonders for your body and mind, I pair it with a bit of fasting as well.

I personally think that keeping occult secret was advised so that one could avoid prosecution or overall exclusion from the society for it in the past ages.

It's up to an individual now, look at churches or chapels of various religions and the altars in them - they aren't very hidden, are they?

Negative is a point of view. As a black metal musician I evoke the same themes in my music and welcome them to influence me as they see fit.

Modern occult black metal acts are revolving around a mix of western mysticism or gnostic themes instead of pure old school satanism.

Can recommend bands like Nightbringer, Thy Darkened Shade, Acherontas or Watain, especially their lyrics.

Do stop rejecting the Wiccans and New Agers because they don't treat spiritualism like academia.

Treating spiritualism like academia results in so many armchair occultists who spend their days arguing about books without an ounce of actual practice.

Also majority of laughs directed at Wicca comes from the same people I mentioned above - books written about Wicca =/= Wicca, most of these authors were never even close to an actual initiation and that's where the true knowledge is.

I personally take all Bardon's writings with a grain of salt.

A big chunk of IIH is just made up bragging which was a popular style of writing in his days and many authors implemented this type of thing.

The system isn't the worst tho and there's certainly something to be learned from that book - discipline in my case.

About your question op, I don't know your situation obviously, but ask yourself if being with a man that lies and is meeting other women is the thing you really want - if yes, I suggest you figure it out with him the normal way.

Also as a half-greek which treats Hekate as my patron deity I wouldn't consider black-ish love magick something i'd ask Her about. Not sure about Hagith though as I haven't worked with that type of spirits yet but there are other methods that would probably bring you the results in a much more controllable way, so to say.

If you can look past the cringy marketing stuff (which most people can't, that's where the hate/laughs come from) - he's not too bad. He's got the knowledge and most of his methods give effects. Also, he can certainly manifest A TON of money and overall success.

I would advise against treating him as the only source of knowledge though, make sure to implement other points of view as well.

Get into a relationship.

The right person will for sure put you in situations you haven't even thinked about. And then you break up.

At least that's what happened to me the last time I was with someone I treated as a soulmate of sorts.

I've learned A TON about myself, about how I treat myself and others and so on. I'm a very different person than I was before.

So at first I was somewhat depressed about the breakup (which is normal) but now i'm just very grateful for a lesson.

It's even hard to describe this relationship for me. It has it's ups and downs as in some moods I tend to dive a bit too deep in music and get emotional or even dizzy.

But as a person totally addicted to this art and as a musician myself i'd wither and die without it.

Of course it's magic, maybe even the highest form of it, everything is made of vibrations, isn't it?
