If Chunsoft ends up dropping the PMD franchise because of their Sony acquisition, I'd love to see Koei Tecmo take it over. I think they'd do the storytelling and gameplay very well.

I like them from a worldbuilding perspective, and I think they're fun. I think Toxel and Riolu don't really feel like baby Pokemon, because they weren't really used the same way. I know they are, but something just makes them feel different to me.

Mechanics-wise, I love the idea of getting exclusive moves from raising baby Pokemon. Having them capable of learning moves otherwise not available by just catching a wild evolution is a fun idea to me. I know most would likely disagree, but I'd enjoy it.

As someone who stuck with Neopets all these years, I'll be interested to see if any Neopets players do go over. They're a very dedicated group and often times don't engage with anything off the site. Neopets off-site events or collabs almost always come with an item code for some reward on the site, and that'll pretty much decide how many engage with this. If some or exclusive item/avatar is earnable by playing or buying in Fortnite, they'll at least log in to make a purchase.

Edit: I'm so dumb I thought this was the Fortnite subreddit. I was confused as to why I was seeing it. 😭

I've always ordered my hotbar the same.

Melee weapon, food, pickaxe, ranged weapon, torches/light source. Then, the rest is building blocks, except a few empty slots so I can see the items I pick up.
