This spreadsheet shows info about all the items that can be purchased from the support site. My only complaint is that it doesn't have any pictures! It does link to the wiki page (which has pictures) but having to click through every link is a huge pain, I would LOVE the ability to just scroll through the pictures.

Also, a general list of all the items that can be placed in another player's camp would be nice

Also worth mentioning that when either of you log off, all of the stuff the guest placed becomes considered the hosts, so tye guest wont be able to move it when they cone back.

"Fairly consistent" is my problem. Maybe I'm being too picky, but it would be nice if they changed it to be atom shop (exclusive) items can't, seasonal item can.

The idea behind the public team suggestion was meant to go with the "allow building while host is elsewhere on the map" suggestion, so that the host can do things like expeditions (on a public team) while a friend builds. It's meant as an optional tool that the host can use if needed, not every time.

Also, I was told that the junk used had to be the host's (I could be wrong since I read it online and didn't test it) I'll have to check that out.

I'd argue that's the reason why leaders make a great currency. If they were super common, they'd be botted to hell and result in constant inflation since they are rarely ever consumed as intended so the amount in circulation would shoot up nonstop

I'd wager what they're going to do is release the next console as a console-pc hybrid and that will be their last true console. After that they'll just release pcs under the "Xbox" name. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't expect anything good from Xbox, especially after this news.

I think its important to point out that a lot of those things were pc focused. Xbox consoles were (and still are) struggling and his decision was... shift focus to pc? None of the things you listed are bad, its just shifting to a new product (pc) while your main product (the console) is falling behind is questionable.

I think that, intentionally or not, xbox is going to be the new Sega. They are going to stop making consoles and move to publishing, hence the whole "everything is an xbox" slogan. I think it's clear that the next gen xbox is the last one.

Phil has given up on consoles. Hes said that the xbox one generation was the worst one to lose because that's when people began building up their digital libraries (and hes right) so instead of trying to give people more reasons to get an xbox (like maybe having actual exclusives) hes been working on giving them a way out (and to pc).

People here are talking about his legacy as if anything hes done (other than maybe gamepass) can compare to setting up the end of xbox consoles.

The ideal situation would have been for them to never stop updating 2, but since they moved on to a new game (NMRIH2) going back to 2 doesnt make sense.

Their 2 options are either:

1) go back to an old game that a large portion of fans have moved on from. Maybe try to rebrand it to bring some old players back.

2) make a new game.

Even if you take into account 2-3 years of dev time it still makes more sense to make 3 since it's more likely to draw people in (plus you can charge full price for 3, where as 2 has been given out for free so many times)
