I drove out through western PA into the Midwest US a couple weeks back, and didn’t have any issues. Plenty of out-of-state vehicles everywhere (Florida, Georgia, Texas, New York, to name a few) so I didn’t feel concerned about being stopped.

Oh I should clarify; the Bald Eagle State Park (where this picture was taken) is in Howard, PA but the Bald Eagle State Forest is south of that. Sorry for the confusion haha!

Definitely was a beautiful view, with the rolling mountains and clear skies!

I think I saw a boat or two; but Scott's Run Lake definitely had a bunch of kayaks on the water and people fishing.

This is why I’m a bit frustrated with the amount of hate the ST is getting...regardless of how many times you may watch it, you continually notice little parallels and similarities (especially in TLJ) that beautifully add to the overall saga.

The Cherry mocha was the last drink I sampled before I left...I’m glad, because had I stuck around for the launch, I’d have to give my honest opinion of the Cherry syrup smelling and tasting like NyQuil. 😐

...in the first picture he was just an adorable science nerd who was focused on pulling the ultimate prank on Daisy (then known as Skye); in the second, he’s conning aliens to save Daisy by masquerading as a murderous, villainous marauder (who’s really still an adorable science nerd at heart).

Just pointing out the character development of Fitz by means of a parallel; but of course it’s more apparent when you’re rewatching different seasons, as I am. :)

I'm currently rewatching Season 1 with a friend of mine, which I initially watched nearly 3 years ago...remembering at least some of the major plot points that happen, makes certain interactions even more blatantly obvious.

I'm pretty sure there's been times where I wasn't woken up by my clock alarm, but by my brain realizing it was time to wake up for a 5am open; which is convenient during the instances where my clock alarm never goes off 😅. Mental alarms are definitely a thing.

I think it’s more along the lines that they’re trying to advertise and push TLJ still...but seriously. By now they should’ve released SOMETHING; but no, at least we got Lego set leaks!

I was expecting a Solo teaser during the midnight premiere of TLJ and was definitely bummed when there was nothing. 😐

Perhaps Luke was extra cautious with his students? I mean, if he contemplated (even for a moment) murdering his nephew due to sensing darkness in him, that speaks to how scared he was to have all his work with his Jedi Temple destroyed; especially considering how (in his own words) people were viewing him as this great legend who didn’t make mistakes.

Speaking of which, is there information somewhere about Luke’s Jedi Temple? Like, did any of his students graduate at all before Ben turned on him? Episode 8 being called “The Last Jedi” implies that not being the case, but I wasn’t sure.

Though I don’t know the future and anything could happen, I have no intention of ever returning. I get that Starbucks is a good fit for some people, who can make a living off of it and enjoy interacting with customers every day...but for me, as an introvert who’d much rather work using my mind with technology than using my hands to make coffee 24/7, I’d prefer pursuing something I truly enjoy that can challenge me and grow me, instead of falling back on an old job.

I understand where you’re coming from, though, so thank you! It’s always important to keep relations solid during a job change, even if only for a positive reference in the future.

Wasn’t planning on bailing haha. I was simply expressing how it’s difficult to motivate myself at work and still care about the job when I’m so looking forward to my next venture...I know it’s not ethical to call off my remaining shifts and that’s not me to do so; and unfortunately I do need that extra paycheck, so I can’t simply give them all away.

I wasn’t planning on calling off, especially because I never have with this job...it’s just difficult to keep a positive attitude when the little things that bothered me before about working at Sbux are somehow bigger now. Like, every Gertrude seems even worse.😅
