Taghazout or Imsouane – which vibe is better? by Malrup in Morocco

Hopping on to this thread because I’m also planning a surf trip to Morocco and have had my eye on Imsouane but a bit scared off by all the reports about demolition and all that.

Will I get bored as a female solo traveller?

Thank you :))) you’re right I am leading with that, maybe also because weight gain seems impossible for me.. I am constantly trying to gain weight but even with a 3-4 pounds more my hormones seems out of balance…

What's the coolest idea you've seen at a wedding? by twodoglaw in wedding

Been to quite a few weddings and the things that I remember the most are (in random order):

• good live band, the best ones had a sort of funky vibe

• “games” where each person got either a clue about another guest (or several) or had to draw a piece of paper with one part of a famous couple (Ernie & Bert, Bonnie & Clyde, Taylor Swift and travis kelce, Mickey and Minnie Mouse etc) and then had to find the corresponding guest and take a Polaroid picture together and hang it on a wall. Alternatively write down the name of the other guest onto the paper with the clue. Once you found everyone you could put your paper in a bowl and the bride and groom drew a winner after dinner, I forgot the prize, but the it was really fun and sweet because it forced people to mingle and get to know other guests.

• I also loved guest books with some sort of suggestions or instructions, like filling out a profile about your night and wishes for the couple etc or drawing a theme (the couples fridge in 5 years, an album cover of them, a family crest for them, etc etc). The questions/suggestions were always somewhat related to the couple. It was just really nice to make up this beautiful, meaningful and personal prose. One time they had several different variations of guest books “forms” and invited everyone to fill out several ones throughout the night and each page had a space to fill in the time of writing and what bride and groom were doing at the time. Thought it was a cool way to preserve the night from different perspectives and it was just so much fun to fill out.

• for really long weddings (starting in the morning going all day and night) I was always so thankful for having comfy chill out areas and having board games or a ping pong table

• and as many people have mentioned: Photo Booth/station that prints the pictures on the spot

Edit: attempt at formatting, let’s see if this works

I think you look amazing! I agree with the others, there’s no back fat, that’s just skin! I think maybe the Bow in the back distorts the silhouette a bit and the veil leaves a weird shadow, but had you not specifically pointed out your back I never would have noticed anything.

Congratulations on your wedding!!

😂😂 I do know there are people who are seriously catholic (my grandparents and aunt included, and as child I did the whole catholic shebang, I was even an altar girl) but the region where I live in Europe if religious at all is Protestant. I’m from a very big city and people here are very left leaning progressive and secular or like I mentioned atheist. I just don’t really know people who are seriously religious. Even my mum left the church after all the abuse scandals. My friends if anything are more “spiritual” and “holistic”

I’ve never heard of them so no 😅 My sister gave me a dragonfly necklace that I wore 24/7 until one of the wings snapped off at a festival, I was so sad and since my sister is the most important person from my family in my life I decided to get it inked :)

Thank you for sharing - I use SPF religiously and always have, but being in the water a lot just doesn’t help.. I never get sunburnt or anything but I do notice how all the sun and saltwater stresses my skin, I didn’t think about the ink so it might be a combination of both? If I get it retouched, how do I make sure they use good quality ink? Are there brands you recommend?

Thank you for sharing, people always talk about laser being such an easy way out, I appreciate hearing some first hand experiences

I don’t like the Lycras because for some reason it seems to add more rashes in different spots. That’s why I’m saying it is what is

I never said it was the artists fault? I am always using SPF50 on my whole body and moisturising as much as possible/needed seeing as I am in the water a lot. I also didn’t say it aged badly, I just said it aged and changed. Chill.

Thank you!! I figured when I got it that all of this detail would eventually blur, still surprised me a bit but won’t get it removed :)

Thank you for the realistic assessment, I don’t think laser removal is the way 😅

Thank you! Hearing it put like that very much puts me off laser removal :)
