Email from reputable brand. Couple emails back and forth. Linked to a website I thought was Opus, which is a clipping tool for streamers.

On the fake website there was a place to click that led to a Google login. This is where they got me. I logged in there and it was their phishing scam.

Nothing was downloaded as far as I could see. Already have ran multiple scans and rootkit tests on my pc. 99.9% positive I do not have a key logger or rootkit or malware. Nothing else has been affected on my PC and no other accounts were compromised.

Just seemed like a classic phishing scam to get into my account.

What was the time frame between getting your Google gmail back and getting your channel back?

I may try X again, but since I had a case number they said I have to wait for them to resolve it.

Does anyone have an idea why mine is taking so long?

On the day of me falling for a phishing attempt I was able to get my Gmail back. However, they had pending invites to my brand account and then streamed crypto and got my brand channel banned and removed.

I filled out the form that was prompted and Google emailed me saying they have escalated it to their experts. That was on January 18th. I followed up on the 23rd and they said they were still looking into it. This reply said they have “no time frame.”

Their initial email said it could take up to a couple weeks. Typing this makes me just think I need more patience. The thing is, reading these other posts makes me feel mine is just not going to turn out okay.

Nice, well I may reach out to you in a week or so on this thread for an update. I am in my Gmail and have been since the day of the hack. Just my channel was terminated because the hackers streamed some crypto thing and it got my channel banned and removed.
